    Very good sound

    • Written by James K from ALFORDS POINT

These headphones are the best headphones I've ever had. The bass is really good so is the clarity. I absolutely love these headphones. I've had no problems with these headphones.

It hasn't got a very sophisticated sound like the other Beats products

    • Written by andrew S from barnsley

It's okay if you want to pay for design, premium materials and for the brand. Because this headphone is a top notch in these categories. BUT, and it is a BIG but, the sound isn't very well.
Beats says that this hp is an entry level to Beats headphones. IT IS STRONGLY TRUE. It hasn't got a very sophisticated sound like the other Beats products. It has such a dull and "dummy" bass and unbalanced mids and lows. The highs are the most remarkable in its sound.

    Promising but not quite there

    • Written by Samuel E from Irvine

I think the sound is very good in my opinion but I find that the microphone is terrible when making calls. A lot of times people say that I sound far away or muffled. The headphones that apple gives us when we buy a phone is way better. At $99 you would expect a better mic but nope. And if you play music everyone is going to hear you. That's not really a problem but it would be nice to fix. Also you can't unplug the audio cable. If the cable goes bad and breaks somehow then the whole headphone is done and you can't use it anymore. I think above all I wish the mic was better so I didn't have to unplug it when I need to make a call. I dunno maybe it is just my headphone. Great sound quality though.

$100 is a bit much for these

    • Written by Brandon B from Wildomar

These headphones sound pretty great, but they are far from the best. That being said, the sound quality is still the best thing about these headphones as when I first got them I could not wear them for more than thirty minutes without hurting my ears. They did slightly break in after a while and they have become more comfortable since then, but it took quite some time before they got to that point. The blue color is also somewhat dull in person and not a very pleasant color in my opinion, but that's up to the individual person to decide. The leakage is pretty significant so if you plan on playing them loud, other people will be able to hear it easily. Overall they are pretty good headphones, but not for $100. You can easily find them for $80 on other places (I believe Best Buy sells them at that price) and I think that's more than a fair price for them. If you get these headphones for $80 I believe you will be very satisfied with what you get.

    Worst headphones AVOID

    • Written by Karen L from Melbourne

Bought one pair, 2 weeks later they stop working. Got them replaced, 3 weeks later same issue. No sound from left earphone. Won't be wasting money in them again. Might be cheap but more hassle than they are worth.

    Simply Brilliant.

    • Written by Alexander P from Norwich

I went to the Apple Store with the intention of just looking at them but I was so impressed I bought them that very same day! The staff in Apple Store Chapelfield were friendly and helpful as always. Absolutely excellent headphones. Superb, crisp, clear sound quality with an excellent premium build quality. Every bit of these headphones screams high quality - from the packaging to the case to the headphones themselves. The case is made from a sort of suede finish pouch which helps to keep the headphones looking great by protecting them when moving them about. Really gorgeous deep colour along with really nice metal touches to the design. Really pleased with the headphones and I would definitely recommend them.

    Not worth it all!

    • Written by Hank D from Bound Brook

The beats headphones are not worth it at all. I bought two--one for each of my kids. Both sets had wiring problems where they could only hear the sound from one speaker. I had to take them back and get them fixed. They did fix them, but I shouldn't even have to do that given the price. for that price they should work like a charm. Then the cable snapped on my daughter's headphone and that wasn't;t covered under any warranty, so I was just out a $100 in less than three months.
Don't waste your money on these--get Bose or something that will work and last.
Apple really dropped the ball here--I will not by anything else that says "beats". Also the customer service in the Apple Store has really gone down the drain.

These are not worth it. Bought two pairs and both broke. We weren't rough on them at all. Not durable and the sound isn't even worth $130.

    Taking Advantage of Kids

    • Written by CHRISTINA S from Overland Park

Both my son and his best buddy got these as their main holiday gifts. Both sets developed the same wiring problem mentioned by another reviewer--they could only hear from one side--with only a few months of normal use. I feel like Apple took advantage of not just me, but of these boys. So disappointing. Meanwhile the earbuds that come with apple products keep on ticking....so clearly these Beats are an inferior product. All hype, no delivery. Never again.

Ah Mazing Price , Great Sound so long as

    • Written by iCloud L from Brampton

You don’t mind being stuck to your device by the chord it’s half the price of the Bluetooth model and it is better if you have an Android and an iPhone to just plug it into your phone. If i only had an iPhone I’d pay to pair it with the wireless version and never worry about chords and plugs again!!!

    Weak cable

    • Written by Marie-Pier B from Quebec

The cable of those headphones is weak and will break in only couple of months. I got them replaced after 4 months and then it broke again and Apple didn't want to replace it so there is no way I will buy that kind of product again. Even though the sound is good, it not worths paying for those headphones. In bonus, Apple wasn't able to provide me a french speaking advisor in Canada. I'm very disappointed.

    Consistantly Bad Products

    • Written by Phillip M from Oak Park

My pair of Beats EP headphones fell apart within 1 month. earpiece detached without any outside force. Apple refused to repair. i understand you don't cover accidental damage, but that is not what happened. They fell apart in my hand.

Anyway, shame on me because my previous two pairs of Beats Headphones also stopped working (no sound) within the first year.

    Not bad, but not amazing.

    • Written by Mark G from Moscow

The Beats EP are a good pare of headphone. They are very sturdy and will definitely get you some complements! The only problem is the cable. It is very cheap and you can not change it, so if it breaks - you’re going to have a bad day. The headphones come with a nice carying pouch and a GREAT unboxing experience.
Now, the most important thing is sound quality. I’m no audiophile but I know a lot about headphones and sound quality. Theese are not amazing or outstanding. I will just say that you won’t be disappointed! The bass is heavy (as expected) but not overwhelming and vocals are not great but good.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 7. Are the Beats EP worth 130$? YES!
