    Amazing

I was hesitant in buying it but I have no regrets now after using it for 1 month. The only thing is that it doesn't really cancel out noise very well, but honestly I like it because then I'm more aware of my surroundings especially if someone's trying to talk to me.

    All I ever wanted

Got these along with my first IPhone ever (8), honestly, it’s not nothing like I ever experienced in the technology field. They’re convenient, lightweight, fast and most importantly -smart! I’m literally blown away! I use them everyday, everywhere, the price tag is completely paying off and I have only one regret- that I didn’t bought them earlier.

    Best earphones yet.

I purchased my AirPods in March after contemplating if i should just stick with the regular iPhone earphones, until one day i went into Apple and said you know what let’s do it, i bought them and i do not regret them at all, they come in handy. I enjoy them very much, and my friends wish they had some lol.

    Outstanding Product

Excellent sound quality in such a small device! I have heard parts of songs I've never noticed before. Equally impressed with the features and ease of use. Customizing them is great to be able to do, and I particularly like the functionality that automatically pauses your music when you remove one AirPod! Great to look at your device and see the battery percentage of the AirPods too (when they're in the charger). Quick charging is also important; and these tick the box well. Super impressed and have been recommending them to everyone.
Some color options might be something to consider going forward.

    Awesome

I got these for my birthday and can't look back. They are so light and the sound is really good. They also work with my iPad Mini and iPhone 4.
If you are looking for a good gift, seriously consider AirPods.

Don't fit some ears at all. Won't pair w/my recent model Samsung 4K TV

I have to put the air pods in the opposite ears to which they're supposed to go and make a very tight fit to make them stay in and none of several 3rd party fit improvement aids work. The air pods are usable that way but look a bit weirder.

Also I have a recent model Samsung 4K UHD TV and it does not see or pair with the Air Pods at all, but works fine even with more common and cheaper Bluetooth head phones.

It is a hassle to order a product and need it and be torn between the need to try to get it to work as advertised when it doesn't and having to return it sometimes, so I'm pretty disappointed in the product, particularly since the vendor doesn't have adapters to work with other ear shapes than the 'standard'.

    Good Enough

I really like the AirPods, they work well and the sound quality is great. My biggest problem with this product is the charging case. Once you lose it, you lose it. And it’s £69 to replace it.

Unlike the actual ear pieces themselves, you can relocate them via the Find My Phone App. The charging case, which is an essential part of the product, can not be located at all. When I spoke to a representative, the only reply I got was “buy a new one.” No other method is available, which is pretty poor standards for a £160 piece of machinery from Apple. It really, really takes away the security of owning an Apple product.

Disappointing, buy a pair 5 year old pair of Plantronics Backbeat Fit

Basically what shown in the ads does not work, sound quality is OK not great, get ready to have to connect through settings every time you want to use them and only 1 connecting is common for me. Tried support but no luck there either. I'm comparing these to a 5 year old pair of Plantronics Backbeat Fit and those are vastly superior in every area, better sound, easier connectivity only charge once a week for around 10 hours usage. I think I've just sold myself on another pair, thanks Apple!

    FINALLY

I finally found the best headphones!!

The AirPods work amazing. Great sound quality, great fit, good bass. I really really like the feature where once you connect the AirPods to one of your devices, it will connect to all your other Apple devices that are signed in with your Apple ID. I’m really digging this feature!!! Connecting them to an Apple TV is such an amazing expierance in it self.

I 100% recommend these to anyone that need a great quality Bluetooth earbuds to get These!!!
Connecting your Apple devices with these are a breeze. You literally flip the cover open and you are connected instantly.
    CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, F$&@ing BRILLIANT!!!

Great job Apple!! And thank you!!

    Almost perfect

They are amazing. They work well, the connection is perfect, also the box is small and you can take them anywhere.
If I lose them I can find them easily. The only complaint I have is that the only thing you can locate are the AirPods, but if you lose the box you have to buy a new one, because the Find My iPhone app only locates the AirPods not the box. So it will be amazing if the box had Bluetooth or a location activated. I just lost the fffffing box and it costs like 100€.

why are there so many bad reviews?!

I've had these since they released back in december 2016 and use them almost daily. I've been using apple products for over a decade and have to say the AirPods are one of my favorite apple products. they work great, sync perfectly with all my apple devices and the battery is more than sufficient. one thing I love is that each airpod has a dedicated mic. this makes taking phone calls while driving so easy. just throw one AirPod into an ear and you have a wireless mic. yes, can you find better sound quality....but these are perfect for what they are designed for. I particularly love pairing them with my Apple Watch when I run. and no, I don't have an issue with them falling out, even while running.

I really don't know why there have been so many bad reviews. especially the people who say the AirPods are bad because they lose them or damage them. thats your own fault.

one thing I will say that could be improved is the charging case. I think it could be made of a higher grade material where the lip closes more securely and tight. when I keep them in my pockets, lint collects easily inside. not bad enough to lose a star, but it would surely make the product better.

    I'm definitely a convert

I'd never tried in ear earphones before, every time I've tried them previously they always felt uncomfortable and the sound quality wasn't brilliant. My wife bought me a pair for my birthday and from the outset i've been massively impressed. From opening the case and having my phone immediately tell me the charge status to the excellent sound quality I am yet to find anything to gripe about. Bass response is way better than I expected and the rest of the sound is up to the level of my beloved Bose over ear noise cancellers, I can offer no higher praise re the sound. Sitting listening with them now I can barely even tell they're there, so light and snug fitting. I've taken calls with them and the person at the other end could hear me just fine.
    Very highly recommended.

    A sad, overpriced disappointment

    Pros:
    Quick recharging via case
    Lightweight

    Cons:
First case didn't properly seat the left AirPod and had to be replaced
Doesn't properly fit my ears and always on the verge of popping out
    Low volume
Connectivity problems to other Apple products
    Overpriced

I've had nothing but problems with my AirPods. First, the left earpiece wouldn't properly seat in the case and would constantly connect to my iPhone, draining the earpiece battery as well as never recharging. As a result, I had to return to the Apple Store to obtain a replacement. Second, the AirPods don't fit properly and are always slipping out of my ears. As a result, I'm forced to buy ear "hooks" to keep them in my ears. Unfortunately, that means I have to tediously take the hooks on and off every time I want to charge the AirPods. Third, the AirPods volume is way too low, much lower than my other set of bluetooth headphones. Fourth, and most pathetically, I have connectivity issues between the AirPods and both my AppleTV and iPhone. All in all, a sad, overpriced disappointment.

    AirPods, Heaven Sent!

This past weekend (4-7-2018) I purchased my first AirPods from the Apple Store near my house. When I got back to my truck, I couldn't wait to opened the case. First, I read the instruction, people always read the instructions. I then placed them in my ears and shook my head from side to side and back to front having no problems with my AirPods falling off my ears. Next, I turned my music on and just thought how awesome these wireless earphones are, just awesome! Later on that day, I tried to pair them with my Mac, unsuccessful. I called the Apple Company and found out I needed macOS High Sierra or Higher to work. Well, I needed an upgrade any way so, I downloaded the new version for my mac. After loading it to my mac I tried to pair by pushing the button on the case in the back. Oh, don't forget to turn on your mac bluetooth first before pushing the back button. I now can listen to my AirPods on my iphone and mac book pro computer thanks to the great customer service I received from one of Apples technicians.

Later on that evening, I fell asleep with my AirPods in my ear playing music. After all that tossing and turning I did, my AirPods were still floating gently like a cloud on the inside of my ears. I slept several hours without experiencing any pain when I got up. These AirPods are heaven to my ears. Thanks Apple, thanks!.

Multiple Apple Devices = Don't buy AirPods

One of the selling points of the AirPods was that you could easily switch between Apple products and use the AirPods after setting up once with iCloud Sign In. Although, your other devices will see the AirPods as a possible device to connect to, that does not mean it is an effortless process. If you are using the AirPods on your iPhone and then later pick them up to use on your iPad then it takes multiple attempts and several minutes of constantly turning bluetooth on and off for them to finally pick up on the iPad, and vice versa. And if your iPhone is still nearby then you are in for an even harder time because they will try to connect to the last device first. Even once you are connected, they still have trouble going between phone calls and music. They will work great for music but once you answer a call, even with the phone showing you are talking using the AirPods, you won't be able to hear the other caller or them hear you. It is a constant software nightmare from a company that used to be top notch on making things right the first time. If you read through the reviews you will notice that the 5 star reviews come from people who use the them for music, and only own one Apple device or rarely switch back and forth.

Battery life for the individual pods and case is excellent for the size and sound quality is above expectations for such a small device, but Apple, just a note, not everyone is a nitpicker audiophile. Some of us just want a product that works and show you've put your energy into more than just sound quality......here's looking at you too HomePod!

My recommendation.....look elsewhere for a more seamless connection experience. As with a lot of things in the past few years, Apple has jumped the gun here and got something on the market just to get it out there....this is not a polished product like we use to see from previous management at Apple.

    Great Product

I recently up graded my Apple TV to the 4k model and purchased these at the same time. I paired them to the TV and it was like having surround sound headphones. Another big advantage is that the storage case is also a charger. Yes you can buy cheaper ear buds but if you are more concerned about quality buy Apple products. Almost forgot, they have to be the best fitting ear buds i have ever used!

    Serious disappointment.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is on record the saddest review I've ever left for any Apple product. Right off the bat - I'm a hardcore Apple fan literally since the early 80s, since their Mac Classic. I'm an industrial designer myself, so I was beyond disappointed in these headphones. PLEASE NOTE - it's impossible to give it fair stars in amazon reviews above since this product must clearly be graded on 2 distinct levels:

    1 - sound

    and 2 - function.

#1 is easy - EASILY 5 stars, and I would give it 10 if I could. The sound coming out of these miniscule headphone is truly amazing. Best I've ever heard with plenty of bass (to my surprise) and feeling genuine highest quality sound in a concert hall. This is where I give them 5 stars - Apples audio engineers did their job. To my dismay Apples designers did not. How did this product get past Jonathan Ive and their testing is beyond me. We're talking ergonomics 101 here - these earbuds are TOO BIG to fit into my ears and I'm a normal 46-yr old male with normal ears. I've used multiple earbud headphones before and they fit perfectly well as they should be, the Sony ones in particular. 2 things that make no sense to me at all:
    - Airpods are ridiculous big to stay in any ear canal
    - Worse yet they are perfectly polished, so they're slippery with no attempt to overmold even a small portion of the earbud with silicone for better friction with skin.

So after finding out there are a ton of 3rd-party silicone hooks being sold, I bought and tried no less than 5 - FIVE - different ones. Only one of the 5 - AHA hooks - worked semi-acceptably, the rest of them, top-rated here, were not working at all for me. Most of them are too thick, which makes these airpods even less ergonomic in ear. Yet what made me return the Airpods today is the fact that only after a few days of use the right one literally just quit working. Never dropped, never stepped on, never damaged, synched in with my phone and working fine till it wasn't any more. This is far beyond what my patience will take. This is probably the worst-designed product of the Apple design team and it's a shame. They could've made it so much better simply by making them smaller and coating them with proper friction coating to stay inside the ear and not making their customers go out and experiment with a bunch of 3rd party ear hooks.
