    Personally I have always used Apples headphones. These used to not fit my ears, but after a while they fit perfectly! The EarPods that came with my iPhone are the ones I use. I didn't buy a separate pair. They have been dropped in water and had the cable almost snap. They deliver decent sound as well if you watch YouTube or listen to Spotify. They are a little pricey, but that's just because Apple is a premium brand that can do that. Otherwise their the best earphones I have ever had!

    Incredibly durable.

    I've put these headphones through so much. I washed them a few times, I left them outside in the rain for two days, they got sat on, stepped on, and used for four hours a day. And they worked perfectly. The quality did not diminish even a bit. I finally had to retire them after one ear stopped working. But after a year and a half of near-constant abuse, that's way better than most headphones. 5 stars & I will buy them again.

    Charger isn't working after ONE use.

    I opened these for the first time and the charger cable is not working after a one time use. Seriously. Absolutely ridic and not high quality at all. It's overpriced and I am not happy right now because I have to go to the Apple store and don't even know if they will replace that cable. What a waste of time and money.

    I bought this product a WEEK ago and now I can not hear out of the left ear plug. I have only used them to walk to and from college for about 5 minutes each day. I would NOT recommend buying these as they are way over priced and break very quickly!!!!!!!! disappointed

    Best of its kind

    I hope they never stop making these regular jack corded headphones.

    Ergonomics: The cord helps me while I bike or am out in public. I run them under my shirt and so I can quickly pop them out of my ears and they dangle from the top of my shirt neck-hole. I can have one in and leave the other dangle so I can hear both the headphone and the sounds of my environment. Obviously this is also helpful for working out, shopping, or other places I don't want my earbuds to fall out or I need to have only one in and be able to hear everything around me. The mic on the cord is for volume and pausing and phone calls. It really is a basic and classic design. My voice sounds best with this mic and you don't need to hold it up to your mouth. It's hands-free. For these perks of the cord, I avoid wireless. Personally they never fall out of my ears. I can run with them in and they don't come out.

    Sound: They have balanced mids and as expected with earbuds have clear highs. Bass will surprise you. They are not over-ear headphones. I've tried other earbuds and I like this balance the most. Have you ever gotten that very unequal-feeling range from headphones--like they were trying to be bass-boosting? These don't have it. For on-the-go, these are great. I've always had these and a pair of deep-listening headphones I wear at home.

    Quality: For me, Apple phone chargers crack and fray way before these. I have never had a pair of these earbuds crack or fray. Longest I've had them was 7 years. No cracking or fraying. The shotty connection in the cord happened with this pair at 7 years. I found lint in my headphone jack on my phone. I'm not sure if that was the headphones or my jack input. All in all, $30 for 7 years just seems like good luck? They are solid. This was with heavy use and in and out my pockets. Keep the headphone jack facing up in your pocket and you'll be fine.

    Customer Service: In my experience, there was a period of time where they got a bad batch. Other reviews will say muffled or the jack/cord connection is bad. My connection started failing at 7 years. Again, it was partially that I had a dirty input connection with lint in it. (End of the day, it's $30 and probably the best $30 ear buds you will find.)
    I once bought a pair that seemed muffled. I noticed it right away and returned them. This was in around 2015/2016. They took the return because I noticed it right away rather than having the problem grow on me or appear suddenly after the return period, though. No problems with my 2017 pair. If anything is wrong with a product, report it right away and don't be mad, just be honest. Apple has always been happy to work with me. It's objective not subjective.

    You’ll be lucky to get 6 months out of them

    One side will stop working, the buttons stop working, the wires fray.....I’ve had it all happen repeatedly, within 6 months of using a new pair.

    Broken earphones

    I have had these earphones for about half a year now with my iPhone 6s, and about two days ago I realized that one earphone wasn’t working. Apple is a company that I love and trust but this?? It’s not really ok because these are only 6 months old and now I have to spend another $30 on earbuds!! Other than that these are greatly portable, they fit very nicely, and I love the high quality sound.

    I’ve had a few pairs of these and they’ve always been reliable. I bought a pair about a month ago and they started playing up within a matter of days as if they were fake. Convianiant apple worsening their older products in order to force people into buying the expensive wireless ear pods for 5x the price. Disappointed.

    Awful earphones

    This the third time my earphones has stop working after buying from the apple store after only 3 months.
    They were in near perfect condition, im tired of constantly having to spend £30 on earphones that have only lasted maximum three months.

    I've been using these headphones for years! I hope they never stop selling them. I don't understand why they have such a bad review. They sound great, feel comfortable, last a few years at a time and these never fall out of my ears unlike all other headphones! They rock!

    Wire Shortage

    These headphones are great when you first buy them. Great quality, great bass, great treble and they are so loud and the first experience is so intriguing. But at the wire that starts from the jack always has a shortage then they completely stop working. Great first time use but horrible outcome

    OverPriced EarTrash

    I bought these a week ago because i see people always wearing them so I think to myself why not buy them so i did and when i first put them in my ear they were comfortable. But when i started to put on music they sounded muddy and muffled so if you listen to any sort of heavy rock or hard rock then these are not the product for you. so i returned them in less then 48 hours. Also these headphones have the cheapest quality I have ever seen, even earbud makers such as Jlab or Sony headphones under 20 dollars that have better quality fit and finish than the earpods. So for the price would I recommend them, No because there are better options from Jlab or Sony for around the same price .

    Always break

    I was constantly buying the Apple EarPods and they are not worth the price. They may fit perfectly in your ear but the built quality is terrible. The earphones end up Aging and the sound isn’t clear or the device itself breaks. Invest in AirPods or anything much better.

    Best I’ve Tried

    I’ve tried many different styles and brands of earbuds because I have cats that tend to chew the cords. Out of all the kinds I’ve tried, Apple EarPods are the bes. They don’t eventually stop working the way most earbuds do. The sound quality is always good, and the shape of the EarPods are perfect for my ears. I only wish that these were more affordable!

    Great design, low build quality

    These used to be great, and if you still have a paid from iphone 5 etc they probably still work, if you buy them now however you'll be a regular at the apple store replacing them under warranty until that runs out then you'll be buying a new pair. Less reliable than something from the $1 store.

    Models with the old build quality were the best headphones i ever owned
    Models with current build quality are the worst I've ever owned.

    Perfect fit but awful durability

    This is the first time I've complained about an Apple product. I used to use cheap earphones that never gave me any issues, but then these beautifully fitting EarPods arrive. But without fail I need to call for a replacement or buy a new pair. I'm sure I've purchased nearly 10 pairs over the last couple of years, spending around '£300 in the process.

    Good for a while, but DO NOT LAST

    I got these about 7 months ago (I've gone through 4 pairs in 2-3 years) and for the first few months, they worked fine. About 2 months in, I pulled them a little too hard and the covering above the plastic where the cord splits into two ripped, revealing the wires. I admit this was mostly my fault, but still, I'd expect them to be at least a bit more resistant, especially for $30 earbuds. I didn't notice a difference in performace for another few months when sound started bleeding out of both buds, even at lower volumes, and most recently, within a week, the right bud as well as the volume/mic controls went inactive, for no apparent reason. This seems to be a trend, because that exact issue occured with my previous two earpods. I'm extremely dissatisfied, especially coming from such a premium company like Apple.
