So much hope, so little delivered

Bought the headphones a while ago. Bluetooth range is pathetic and God forbids if you turn your head away from the source, they will cut off, same if you put your hand over right earphone. Very painful\uncomfortable on earlobes, can't wear them more than 15 min. without taking them off, or adjusting their position; that is why you will not pick this up in the store. The USB charging female port looses contact while charging - loose connection inside the phone (apparently very common problem with these headphones). Sound quality way below average for well over $400 headphones (in Australia). Besides, sort of, cool look not much good to say about them. Expensive lesson learned. To top this up my pair start cutting off for no reason whatsoever and are now useless. Thank God I bought extended warranty.

If only they where a little louder

These headphones are the best wireless headphones I've ever purchased but they just need to be louder, I can still hear background noise when I'm outside so I usually use them indoors, overall amazing sound quality and they look very clean too Nice job Apple.

    Waste

On my second pair of studios now and there always seems to be some small issue going on. First pair was issue with one speaker and now issues with bluetooth connectivity on second. The worst part about these products is that you have to deal with Apple for problems which is one of the most frustrating things a person can attempt to do. It's a shame because they actually sound and look ok. Probably going to just try Bose next time.

    Super Rad

I heard people say that it's uncomfortable, headache after ten minutes wearing them. Wore these beats for a flight from Japan to LA for 8 plus hours. No headaches, no earache, no problem at all. Comfy head set. Great for music and movies! Love how it cut off the airplane engine sound cuz of the noise canceling. These are my second pair of beats head phones. 1st was solo hd. Loving this more because it covers your ears completely. Will def recommend to friends.

cracked headphone apple refused to fix

STAY AWAY FROM THESE BUY OTHER HEADPHONES FIRST. Had these studio 3 headphones for less than a year and a major crack developed below the hinge on the right ear piece. The plastics and materials used are VERY very cheap for a 300 dollar product and they broke over time simply by opening and closing the latch. Apple refused to cover this under the warranty and has completely lost me as a customer. Multiple iPhone, MacBook, beats purchases. Gone downhill ever since Steve jobs died IMO.

Not as comfortable as bose and still not USB-C

Works wonderfully, but still uses the old micro-usb cable and not as soft and comfortable as the Bose equivalent.

Hopefully not too much longer until it's updated to USB-C and can be as comfortable if not more than Bose.

    Wonderful!

At first I was suspicious that these were over-hyped, but after testing all brands for an hour at the store, I chose them, and I don't regret it. The only thing that would make them perfect is if the left cup controls would implement the old ipod click wheel

    Supreme Sound and Feel

These are some of the best headphones I've ever owned. The ear pieces are very comfortable, though it takes some time getting used to, as they don't go all the way around your ear, but that's on purpose. The sound is just excellent. I listen to everything from classical to rap and each genre I can hear what I'm supposed to be hearing extremely clearly. The Pure ANC is something of a dream. I live in NYC and I heard the train coming with these on and thought it was extremely loud, so I turned the ANC on and immediately all outward sound went away. Really does it's job. The Apple W1 chip is also a great add on. I was watching a movie on my computer the other day, took a call in the middle of it and then continued watching. From my computer to my phone back to my computer. Very painless. If you have the money I highly recommend these. Everything I expected.

Lacking in mid - high range

I really wish beats would stop advertising their exceptional mid-high range as it’s really not there. The mid range is muddy and the highs are tinny. Definitely not optimal for classical music. I’ll be returning these.

    Best I've ever had

While I once had a Sony blue tooth headphones I was happy with until they broke, I've always been reluctant with Bluetooth, life has shown me there are connection issues, battery life issues , and most importantly fidelity compromises. I love working cord free though, so I considered these or its Bose competitor. So happy with these. Awesome build. Amazing battery life, and the fidelity is as good as any other headphones I've used including wired. Ive used them with both iPhone and Android and they seem equally impressive on both. Been using them now for about 8 months, and going strong. The noise canceling seems to work well, but I can't use it, they make my head pound , like the back window in the car rolled down. Other noise cancelling headphones do the same thing to me so it's not a knock on this model. Easy to turn off by double-checking the power button. So happy!

    Amazing Sound: No Unwanted Sound

Greatest pair of headphones that I have ever bought. The Pure ANC is INCREDIBLY worth it when you hear parts of the music that you didn't even know were there.

    Amazing as advertised

I was wondering which to buy from Bose, Beats, and Sony , but after trying these, I would say that I am really lucky that I chose to buy beats 3 wireless. Recommended.

    The Sanity I Needed

I travel a ton for work. Up until recently, the noise on the plane (despite my existing headphones) didn’t bother me, but that quickly changed. I started looking into noise canceling options, and between look, style, sound quality and price point, these Studio3 headphones have it all! Plane rides are now the most serene experience, regardless of the environment! Plus the limited edition Porcelain Rose color is to die for! I wish I got these sooner!!

    low quality

I purchased a pair from Best Buy. I took them home and connected them to my iPhone via Bluetooth. They worked 3 times I connected and than the right side stopped working. I am disappointed in the quality of the product. They literally broke 3 hours after I bought them.

    Beats... Are they underrated?

I had to sell my original pair of Beats Studio 3s, repeatedly try an extensive array of similarly priced headphones ($200 - $500), only to come back to the Beats Studio 3s (ten years editions) to appreciate them! The Beats Studio 3s are an amazing pair of headphones that do everything pretty good. They handle every genre of music well with a volume that surpasses wireless headphones I tried. I could go into more detail as there is so much more to say about these headphones but from working out, travel, sleeping to studio/casual listening, these handle it all. As with anything, they do have a few things they can do better (bigger ear cups, clicking when extended, and just a bit more clarity) but on a scale of 1 - 10 (as compared to the many other headphones I tried {from Bose qc35 ii, Sony 1000xm2, Sennheiser pcx 550s, to Bowers & Wilkins and others} and others) I’m giving my Beats Studio 3s (Ten yr edition) a solid 8.5 - 9 out of 10. They are awesome, fun, and a pleasure to have. Listening life made easy.
