You have better options then these

On the plus side they are long enough to comfortably hang down around your neck for anyone. The magnets on the end are a great way too keep them on and not lose them when not in use. However the sounds is just OK. Not bad sound quality but not good either. You have many other choices out there that are much better. Like Bose. Unfortunately if you want the Bose that is similar to this par then you cannot buy from apple as they do not offer them. I also own a pair for the beats sport and the sound does seem to be better than this pair and the battery life is amazing.

Have been the best wireless over neck style.

I love these headphones they have been the best everas far as wireless. I recommend them to anyone. We work construction we also haul trucks big 18 wheeler‘s and I’ve had them about six months now and the only LITTLE problem that I have and sometimes the connection is aggravating to get connected. But simply just unlock your phone hold the power button and click connect on your iPhone. I work around grinders and heavy equipment and very loud things if I put the BeatsX and turn the music half to 3/4 I don’t hear anything else around me if I get a phone call, they work perfect if I’m in the vehicle or not around noise but I’ll go in but if I’m around loud noises all you have to do is hold the mic closer to your mouth and it works perfectly fine the people that are writing these as one star probably got a bad bunch and I’m sorry to hear that I really hope you can try them again because last I’ve seen they were on sale for $89.99. I paid $110 and they have been worth every penny so far and I will recommend them to Everyone in anymore thank you Apple for making this product better. Also everyone I’ve asked on the other end of gone say they hear me just fine.

    technological problem

hi i have been using beats from last 1 year they are great but the only problem i felt they do not provide priority to one connected device

i visited store in regards to this they had no idea over this

this problem is only with these beats earphones and with no else

so, if you have one of this and you have connected them with multiple devices in couple of days or time since you bought them, suppose my beats are connected with X Y AND Z devices

currently i am using device x and listening music or calling someone using beats and suddenly Device Y turns his bluetooth on and tries to connect my beats which are already connected with device X, the beats ll disconnect my network and ll join with device Y with no priority to which device they are connected and if in case Z tries to do same they ll disconnect device Y and gets connected to device Z.

so whoever ll try to connect beats, beats get connected to them (one who had connection with them earlier not a new device)

no else series do so they tells you that device is connected with some else device and connection can not be established.

Brilliant headphones, didn't think they would be so good

I bought these headphones as I fancied something wireless and whilst the earbuds are good i wanted something that would block out external sound, so I bought these. Best decision ever. They come with a number of fittings and I have to admit it took me a while to find the best for me but they fit snugly and block out lots of external sounds. A lot is made of how easy they are to pair with an iPhone, which they are, but you do this once and never have to think of it again. The battery life on them is good, but what is great is how quickly they charge. It makes the battery life irrelevant. 5mins of charging makes them usable for hours. The only down side I would say, and this is not really that bad, is that it took me a while to practice putting them back into the case, they fold in a special way that isn't that intuitive. Overall they're great, don't regret buying and I would buy them again in a flash.

Great sound but breaks too quickly

I bought mine during Black Friday of 2017 and the sound is really good and amazing at blocking out outside noises even thought they aren't noise canceling. I enjoyed them a lot and got a lot of compliments, but suddenly out of no where the power button stopped working. The light still turns on and it still charges but the power button is unresponsive.

    Worst headphones I've ever owned

These are just terrible, and money would be so much better spent paying an extra $10 for airpods. I wanted wireless headphones for running, but the weight of the battery and controls is so much that these are constantly being pulled out of my ears from the force of these bumping up and down. Makes for a very uncomfortable workout. Aside from that, the sounds is bad for the price. Wish I hadn't bought them.

I bought this headphones for freaking $110 and it wasn't working from the moment I bought. I had to exchange it for another defective piece. This second defective piece was again replaced. It took about 10 days to enjoy the first experience of beats. And now the third one isn't working. All the three had the same issue. The earphones don't get charged. When three earphones have a similar problem, it is a flaw in the fundamental design of the earphones.
This will remain the worst purchase I ever made. This is my ever first review for any product. I am doing this to show my sheer frustration and to wake up the engineering team to build better earphones.
I thought of gifting this to a friend. Now I would not even recommend this to anyone. Thank you for making me roam around your stores for months along. :(

    Free airline earbuds are better

These headphones have worse sound quality than the free earbuds that airlines hand out. The tin sound was unforgivable. Setup and pairing worked perfectly, and I like the style and fit, but I'm returning due to complete lack of quality.

    Not for working out!!

I got these late January and they completely died by the end of February! These do NOT work if you workout with them. The second I got sweaty in my workout the controls didn’t work. The volume would go all the way down and up by itself, the songs would skip, and I couldn’t turn it off because all the buttons/controls on it wouldn’t turn off. The cord was also really long which I didn’t particularly like. When these worked for the first couple weeks I really liked them because the sound quality was great for wireless headphones. If you are just using these for school, running errands, etc. these are the headphones for you. If you’re trying to hit the gym with these I would keep searching.

    Does not work under 0 ° C / 32 ° F

I live in an area where temperatures are below 0 ° C half of the year and its earphones stop operating under this temperature for security reasons according to Apple. There is no mention of this specification on the packaging and when I mention to Apple that having been aware of this specificity before, I never bought, what I am told that my only option is to resell because no return / refund is accepted for this kind of product ... Apple, you made me live the worst customer experience for life with the purchase of this product!

Not that good for the price and brand

Looked for ages for a new pair of wireless headphones to use primarily for my iPhone and MacBook Pro. Key use areas I was looking for was sound quality, battery life, fit and call / mic quality.
    1. Sound quality is not bad, it's not great either for $200. They do provide a good level of noise cancellation because they are in ear so I don't hear much when I have them on the plane or public transport. But I fine the sound to be a little too heavy ... but that is Beats I guess 6/10
    2. Battery life is good to start and then just goes downhill the more you use and charge them. And let's be honest you will need to throw these away as you can't replace the battery. I am constantly finding I need to charge them, and if you don't actively turn them off then after a few days if you come back to them then they die quickly. 6/10
    3. Fit is not that bad once you get the right size sorted. I do find the little stabilisers hurt my ear after a while so you might want to take them off. 7/10 for this type of earphone
    4. If you do a lot of phone calls then these are not your headphones of choice. I already had to take one pair back cause I thought they were faulty and kept dropping calls. 5/10

I should also note that the wired aspect which is why I bought them over air pods actually end being a pain. They have a memory to them so if you wind them up the wrong way they remember and you look weird with one strand sticking out.

I'd keep looking at the other options...as I am going to sell mine

They were fine, until the volume key came off all of a sudden. I tried to get them fixed, especially since I thought I was going to get good quality earphones for the price I was paying. And it turns out to repair these because "accidental damage" is out of the warranty it would be 80 dollars.

    Not reliable

I had those for 7 months, the sound is OK, but suddenly stop working, drop dead, I tried to recharge them many times, but nothing anymore. Definitely not something I will buy again, especially at that price.

Fine for Music, look elsewhere if you use them for phone calls

    The good:
    * Out of the box, they paired very quickly with my iPhone
    * Battery life is pretty good. I get between 7-8 hours when listening to music
    * I like that they hang around my neck (this is likely subjective)
    * They do a good job of sounds isolation. (People usually have to tap my shoulder when they walk up to my desk. Also, they do a great job on the plane of blocking out the engine drone)
    * Charging time is pretty fast. The fast charge option is a life saver if you constantly use them.
    * Charging on the same power cord type as the iPhone. (it's just one less cord I have to carry)

    The bad:
    * Battery life drops to about 4 hours when you are doing non-stop calls. (it's acceptable because of the quick charge. 5 min of charging will get me through a ~30 min call)
    * It's a pain to switch source devices. (i.e. I go back and forth between the iPhone and my MacBook all the time).
    * On several occasions (when paired with the iPhone), music is playing but calls are routed through the phone. So I have to physically change that when a call comes in. (that's just STUPID!)
    * I've had a lot of problems with them not working correctly when paired with my MacBook and trying to participate in skype/webex/join.me calls. About half the time, I have to spend at least 2 min going through and changing the source/output settings in the Macbook, then in the application.
    * The Mic picks up EVERY LITTLE THING IN THE ROOM! So if you try and take a call in a place where other people are talking at normal levels around you (i.e. work) the person you called hears everyone else BUT you.

I like the format a lot. I like using them for music. However, I would return them if I could. (I've had them about 45 days now and am outside the return period for Best Buy) They fail for he main reason I purchased them was to make taking phone calls easier since I participate in several "marathon" calls every day.

    Excellent pairing, poor sound quality

I bought these to replace my old pair of Bose in-ear wired headphones. Pairing works as expected and design is just beautiful. Being a Beats product you would expect an above average sound quality, and I was extremely disappointed with the sound quality of the BeatsX. You have to stick the ear piece well into your ear so you can hear good balanced audio, otherwise, it sounds just like a pair of airline earbuds. For a product at this price point, I was expecting a different sound quality.

    Where is the bass ?!

I like that when I watch a video the audio follows the scene and is not delayed. How ever where is the bass? Horrible. I have one song that sounds good in all of my other earphones, car that doesn’t have that much bass, and these...just... Don’t call these “Beats”, no beat.
