    Magnetic cover

Cheap. Pops off all the time, little to no support, you might as well save your money and prop your iPad with a toilet roll. Bc this product is trash

    Smart Cover for iPad pro

I purchased one of these covers and was totally disappointed in it. Since the iPad Pro has such a narrow border my fingers kept touching links and taking me to a new page. The iPad Pro really needs a cover that has a back to allow the user to have something to hold onto without ended up touching the viewing area and touching links. I'm a big fan of Apple but this was a poor design.

    Where'd it go?

As much as I love this product, does anyone else remember when you didn't have to pay $$$ just for a case and cover. I like the idea having it two seperate things but the only reason I haven't given away my iPad Air 1 is because the case I have for it is one whole case. It has the case with the cover attached. Yes, it may be filthy but I want to hold onto this device as long as I can...or at least until I win the lottery and am able to afford a thousand dollar iPad and a super expensive case situation. ☺︎

    Comes off too easily

This is very light and looks nice, but I’m not convinced that it offers much protection. My iPad fell off the dresser and this cover came right off. Luckily the iPad screen was not damaged but the side of the iPad was slightly dinged. This cover comes off very easily and so I don’t see the value in it as a protective cover. Perhaps as simply to cover the screen in a bag it could be enough.

    So far.. Annoying

I have an original Smart Cover with my iPad Air and whilst that was great, this is not so much.

Apple have changed the geometry of the hinge slightly and now the cover doesn't sit flush with the back of the iPad when open, the bottom third is lifted away from the back and moves back and forth as you hold the iPad. This turns out to be really annoying. I'm hoping the hinge may soften a bit with time and allow the cover to stay flat, but I'm not holding out much hope. Add to that the fact that the top third of the cover also rests awkwardly on the camera bump and the whole concept falls flat.

It all ends up feeling like one of those products that the designers never used themselves, or if they did, didn’t have the opportunity to refine properly for the iPad Pro. I'm not sure the premium price of this once great cover is still reflected in the attention to detail in the end product.
