    Solid

Honestly anyone giving this a low review most likely did not try out all the extra tips sent with the box. The sound is amazing along with the base, which I would reccomend using the biggest ear tips which produce the best fit and overall sound quality.

    Bang For The Buck

    • Written by Angelo A

Just bought urBeats3 and so far, from my history of using Beats headsets (from the original Beats Tour to urBeats v1 space gray until my recent purchase), I liked that they have toned down the overly powered bass of their previous in-ear headsets. The highs, mids and lows are just perfect for my taste, together with some tinkering with tuners and equalizers, they really sound great for it's fair price point! I just hope that they last long since the product warranty runs up only until a year when you purchased it, but so far, the build quality is great. The eartips and wingtips are a good plus! Overall, I'm very satisfied with urBeats3, and would recommend to other people as well.

    Good quality for the price

    • Written by John H

I don't get why people give this so much flak. Did you expect to hear the artist pass gas in the booth or something? I mean, they're no Beats Studio, but they get the job done. Comfortable, clear sound, reliable... that's all that matters.

My pair lasted me 8 months

    • Written by JLun H

My pair lasted me eight months, and they still work. It's just some product damage. But these earbuds lasted a lot longer than I thought. They are definitely more worth it now that the price dropped 40$.

    New Pair EVERY year.

    • Written by alyssa M

They're great but something always goes wrong every pair I get. They're only *perfect* for about 10-12 months until something goes wrong. I've had several problems: first pair (red and black) had a weird bendy piece that goes into the phone so it eventually wore out and the wires were beginning to expose so music eventually didn't want to play through them. My next pair (white and gold) are pretty odd. They're the only pair that send shocks into my ear from time to time and the plug in was fine until music kept stopping...my solution was to pinch or angle the cord to continue to play music. My next pair (black and silver) lasted the shortest when I ended up losing sound from one earbud entirely. Today, i use the white and gold pair because they magically started working again ??? hopefully my other 2 will eventually too lol.

Decent earbuds for such a high price

These earbuds are a 6/10 sound quality is ok but i feel like they are overpriced for the sound quality these earbuds give you.

    Meh.

    • Written by James L from Singapore

The sound is decent, although I do not recommend it for ‘audiophiles’. Unlike unboxing videos on YouTube, the earpieces I received do not contain wingtips, and the carrying case. Very disappointed.

About what you’d expect at this price point...

    • Written by Darren J

Best to disregard the majority of 1-star and 5-star reviews — these earbuds are nowhere near either extreme. Noticed far too many overly-subjective reviews from haters and fanboys alike, and figured I’d try to provide a little more context and feedback. It’s surprising how seeing a product with 4 or 5 stars from 50+ reviewers somehow reassures me; because once I actually read the individual reviews I remember how unreliable (most) people are. COMPARED TO THOSE (white) EARBUDS THAT CAME WITH YOUR PHONE: these are a solid step up in sound and build quality. ***sound: 5/10 • style: 7/10 • build quality: 5/10*** Please don’t interpret 5/10 as low quality, it’s definitely not!! (for comparison, here’s how I’d rate those stock “iBuds”... sound:3/10 • style:5/10 • build quality:4/10). Once you determine the best fitting attachment for these (deep, loud bass only happens when the earbud is snug and creates a sort of seal in your ear), they can deliver richer and clearer music than your stock earbuds. But the reality is you can only get so much at this price point — considering the additional costs of the included accessories and Beats’ massive advertising campaign. You’d likely need to step up to around $125+ for audio quality in the 6-7 range and upwards of $175 for anything above an 8. And if you’re streaming music listening to 128kbps audio files straight off of your phone, these earbuds are solid and anything beyond $175 is — for 99% of us — is overkill. Hope this helps!

    No bass

Seriously like zero bass at all and the cable is too stiff. It pulls the earphones out constantly. Going back to Wally today.

These headphones are on of the greatest....

    • Written by William D

...failures to date. I mean sure, they fit snugly, they are well designed and come with an ample amount of accessories, and the quality of the case is nice. But, the sound quality, is not too great, the bass feels a little sub par, the high-end sounds are a little too tinny. The driver is incapable of handling both ends of sounds at the same time and that is very disappointing. :(

    Bad Quality

    • Written by marcos L

The B logo peeled off after only 5 months and the actual circle which holds the B logo fell off and the rubber which holds the headphone jack ripped and the headphones never stay in my phone they pop out with MINIMAL pressure and lastly the audio is very treble heavy and they don't have bass

    Great until they break

    • Written by Ethan Q

Always loved the urbeats and I’ve had more than 6 pairs over the years because I always manage to get them wet and I’ve been fine with it, but over the last 2 months I’ve had 2 pair of them because the headphone jacks have broke, I like to listen and change so that’s why I still have the 3.5 jack but I’m going to the lighting cable now, would love to get a discount of some kind because of the problem, haven’t had luck with any warranty in the past but we shall see. Can’t compare them to any other headphones when they work, noise canceling is amazing and the sound is next level.
