Works on newer iPad and iPhone with Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

For those who want a wired Ethernet connection to iPad or iPhone, the Moshi USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter offers higher speeds than the Apple USB Ethernet For those who want a wired Ethernet connection to iPad or iPhone, the Moshi USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter offers higher speeds than the Apple USB Ethernet Adapter. You must use the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and connect an Apple 12W USB Power Adapter to power the Ethernet adapter and the iPad or iPhone. Reconnect the Lighting cable to the iPad or iPhone and wait a few seconds if it doesn't connect. I find it is best to not use Airplane Mode to avoid excess warning messages. Those wanting less EMF can turn off Bluetooth, Cellular Data and WiFi and use the Ethernet adapter and Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. WiFi calling is not supported by wire. Phone calls can occur through cellular.

I recently updated the driver to resolve sleep-mode wak-up issues (I had to unplug and plug it again to make it work), but then it caused frequent kernel panics when I click the website icon from Chrome's address bar or plugging it into the my MBPr. Removing the newly installed kexts has resolved the kernel panic issues and brought back the wak-up issue, but I prefer just re-plugging it instead of seeing kernel panics.

      Beware

Worked briefly, but very unreliable, at least for a Mac user. A warranty requiring you to return the product to LA is next to useless.
