      Better than the Nimbus

Having used the Nimbus controller in the Apple Store, and owning this controller for a few days (had to have them get it from the back, stye hadn't even put it Having used the Nimbus controller in the Apple Store, and owning this controller for a few days (had to have them get it from the back, stye hadn't even put it out yet), I can say wth complete confidence that this controller is so much better. The nimbus is significantly fighter than the Ultimate, which to my surprise, is not a good thing. The weight of the Ultimate makes it feel so much better in the hand. The design itself is much cleaner, with the concave menu button. Also, an unsaid spec of the Ultimate is 4.1 Bluetooth, compared to the Nimbus's 4.0. Not to mention having double the battery life. Also, I have smaller hands, about average size for an adult male, and the Nimbus's R1 and L1 buttons (shoulder buttons, for you that don't know) are very uncomfortable to rest your hands on. For games that play with SNES controls (which a lot of newer games emulate), this is not a problem for the Ultimate. And with your hands resting on double sticks and triggers (for shooters), it is just as comfortable as the Nimbus.

This is not the case with the HORIPAD ULTIMATE. This controller has a weight and feel that just exudes quality. It is definitely worthy to be paired with your Apple device of choice. The buttons, d-pad, and other components are all respond perfectly with excellent feedback and feel. A great controller at an excellent price.

Looks good, feels good, questionable quality?

It basically stuck in one direction and since there is no way of turning that input off the controller is now useless. I've seen other folks here report similar issues, so quality may be a problem.
