      Cleaver design - awful materials

I love that it has an adjustable kickstand, backlit keys, and easily detaches from the keyboard. What I find sorely disappointing is the hard plastic they used. In this day of soft-touch plastics, I'm surprised they chose this hard, cheap-feeling material. I currently use a 9.7 pro with Apple's silicon case and their keyboard. I love caring that thing around - feels so good in the hand! The function of Logitech's slim-combo is a winner, so I'll be keeping it. I just wish they'd made a different choice in the material.

And heavy. If you're used to using Logitech's keyboard case for the 9.7 ipad pro, get ready for something that feels much bigger and heavier. It kinda sorta defeats the purpose of an ipad if it's in a case with a keyboard that makes it bigger -- or at the very least heavier -- than a Macbook Air. Make no mistake: the keyboard works flawlessly and there is merit to the multi-piece configuration, but this is by no means slim.

      Bulky, but highly functional

Just upgraded my Air 2 with Type + setup. I was tempted by the detachable keyboard and more versatile setup. Never loved Apple's smart keyboard or the price. Not sure if I love the materials on this. The hard plastic seems a little cheap. I've only had it for a day so I can't speak to durability. Love the backlit keyboard for nighttime blogging.

Keys not working, submitted 2nd warranty claim

I'm on my first replacement since getting this originally. The original and the replacement both have defective keys. I just submitted my 2nd warranty claim. If I'm on my first replacement since getting this originally. The original and the replacement both have defective keys. I just submitted my 2nd warranty claim. If it weren't for the defective keys, I'd give this 5 stars. The case is sturdy and does a great job of protecting my iPad. The battery life, when the keys all did work, was great. It's just the defective keys that are getting to be really frustrating.

      If it's FREE, there's a reason

The Logitech Slim Combo with detachable keyboard was FREE when I purchased my iPad Pro quite some time ago. The fact that it was FREE should have been a clue! The Logitech Slim Combo with detachable keyboard was FREE when I purchased my iPad Pro quite some time ago. The fact that it was FREE should have been a clue! With my earlier iPads I purchased a Zagg (so poorly designed it broke the glass at lower corner) then a Belkin keyboard that worked fine. By comparison, this Logitech is FAR HEAVIER, and adding to the weight of the iPad Pro I'm less likely to carry it around. The detachable keyboard is useful, but tricky to attach completely. I'd love a lighter weight version of keyboard and cover, but have yet to find any I'm willing to purchase.

      Very Disappointed

Bought this as i use my Ipad when travelling instead of my Macbook pro. Concept is good, works great when keyboard actually connects which is not very often. Magnets or whatever are used to keep case closed are very weak. Could be a lot slimmer. Expected better from Logitech.
