Very disappointed with quality of this power adapter

Since then we have gone through 3 of these adapters. They just don't seem to last more than a couple of weeks. I use a surge protector power bar when I am charging my phones to protect from power spikes. I don't want to use the cheaper clone adapters advertised on the Internet, as I always prefer to use the actual adapter made for the device, but the quality of these Apple plugs is pathetic. I have had a 12 W USB Power Adapter which came with my iPad 3 for over three years now and never had a problem with it. Apple please do something about this. I am getting fed up with having to go to the store to exchange the defective plug for a new one over and over. (Thank God I bought the extended warranty with the phones - although that was to cover the phones themselves and I never expected to have to keep on using it for adapter replacements!!!) Does anyone have any ideas as to why this keeps happening?

They need to up their quality or give some kind of warranty on their small accessories!!! I started to buy aftermarket accessories and am finding them to be of higher quality.

      Disappointed

My first charger lasted a good while, and when that finally died, I decided to order another one straight from Apple. I did so thinking I’d a get a good quality product, and not a knockoff. I used the new one for not even a full two weeks, before that too, died. I spent $40 on it, and it’s a waste. Now I’ll have to spend another $40, and I’m not happy. I‘m not looking for perfection, but if Apple charges $40 for a charger, then I expect it to work, and last for a long time. I’ve never had this happen before with any Apple chargers I’ve had in the past, so I honestly don’t know why this is happening. All I do know, is that if I have to keep spending money every couple of weeks on a charger, then I’ll seriously consider switching to android.

      Apple charger cables

I’m on my second charger for my laptop and, the magnetic part separated from the head of the cable part and, now every time I want to charge my laptop I have to literally scotch them together. I went to get a third one but, they don’t produce from it anymore at least that’s what the guy in the store said and, those chargers are so expensive (the first one my fault same problem, second not my fault I was so careful same problem ) just pick another design a normal more useful design like other pc companies. Even my iPad charger has small tear in it like am I supposed to just not bend it at all maybe keep it straight all the time.
