      Shattered remote

Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped an My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped and also so it isn't so small that it gets lost. Also make the replacement cost reasonable, the only people buying replacement remotes are people who have broken their remotes already. So maybe don't try and make a large profit on the replacement remotes.

It's really lightweight and feels good. I've never had amy problems with it not connecting/getting disconnected. I've drop it from roughly 3-4 ft. many times and it has yet to shatter (p.s. it has no case). If it wasn't so small and easy to lose, I would give it 5 stars (It's not 3 stars because they brought the price down from $79.00 to $59.00, so I gave it 1 more star).

Remote will stop working and have to be replaced at the normally rediculous Apple price tags. $59 for a plain remote? Not a universal remote. Absolutely junk. If this is what consumers will continue to deal with to be an Apple customer, Apple will fail. We pay a premium to have a nice cosmetically appealing well designed device. Apple failed on this and continue to double down on the failure by maintaining high price and no fix.

You can't even call it a remote. It's too much of a joke.

Things that this remote would be better suited for than an actual remote- 1. half of a beer coaster 2. mini sushi platter 3. Kindling 4. fly swatter 5. too Things that this remote would be better suited for than an actual remote- 1. half of a beer coaster 2. mini sushi platter 3. Kindling 4. fly swatter 5. toothpaste tube squeezer 6. garlic smasher In all seriousness, they should fire all the engineers that created this joke of a remote. Here are the reasons why. 1. There is no MUTE BUTTON! 2. The Pause/Play button NO LONGER PLAYS ANYMORE!!! WTF! Why would they take an already working feature and disable it? It's a Pause/ PLAY button!!! Idiots! 3. Fast Forwarding now takes a degree in rocket science. It used to be that you swipe right and it fast forwards. Get this, NOW to fast forward you need to do the following- a) pause the TV. b) swipe right across the whole pad. c) gently swipe across the top of the pad being ever so gentle not to over or under swipe or you end up in the TV Twilight Zone. I would give this remote ZERO STARS if I could. It's such a piece of junk. I can't tell you how much hair I've lost over this thing. I mean this is simple TV remote and you managed to completely mess it up, Apple! Go hire some high school students to redesign it. They would do a much better job.

Dropped. Smashed. Seriously, Apple? How many of the same bad reviews will it take before you make a change? Shouldn't take a genius but since you claim to have Dropped. Smashed.
