A bluetooth mouse with one fatal flaw

It's a mouse and it works. Moves on my desk just fine, appreciate the physical click, like the finger gestures, and the battery lasts a long time. However, It's a mouse and it works. Moves on my desk just fine, appreciate the physical click, like the finger gestures, and the battery lasts a long time. However, it has one fatal flaw: the charging port is on the bottom of the mouse. Why? Why not put it on the side so I can still use it (like a classic mouse), instead of being forced to leave it upside down (and be unusable) while it charges? It's an obvious fix to a problem.

      Great Mouse

I don't know why people keep complaining about the charging port being on the bottom. The battery lasts well over a month if not two of everyday all day use. Th I don't know why people keep complaining about the charging port being on the bottom. The battery lasts well over a month if not two of everyday all day use. This means that 1 day out of 60. You have to remember to plug it in at night or before leaving work and your set for another 60 days.. Not only that, but in about 2 min of charging the mouse gains about 8 hours of battery life. yes, I said 2 min people! My only complaint would be that scrolling is sometimes too sensitive. Other than that its a great mouse!

Great design... until you have to charge it

Apple has always been good about design of products. Here they have dropped the ball. It is fantastic to be able to charge the mouse and not have to buy new bat Apple has always been good about design of products. Here they have dropped the ball. It is fantastic to be able to charge the mouse and not have to buy new batteries for countless reasons... but to not be able to use the mouse because the lightning port was designed to be on the bottom of the device is just a complete misstep. When you loose power you have to completely stop productivity to charge the device.

      Not worth the price

I ended up returning it as I found it not comfortable to use as it's so flat that you end up having to put your hand in a claw like shape to use it. My hand was cramping up and it wasn't fun to use. I also found the tracking a bit choppy for the price, as it definitely isn't as smooth as a wired mouse. I bought a $24 Microsoft bluetooth mouse and I find it works much better and is much more comfortable. If this mouse was half the price it would be totally worth it, but for the price you pay you could get a very high quality mouse.

Two trains of thought, yes the charge last a long time, but in typical fashion, it fails at that crucial moment, unplanned demo or presentation. I have to carry a back Magic Mouse 1 with batteries. Anyway my issue is why is it not space gray on top, no one sees the space gray unless your charging it, it’s a black mouse, can we get a true space gray mouse please....

connectivity issues across three computers and three magic mouses

Not sure how apple has screwed this up so bad - many calls with tech support have yet to fix what seems to be a simple bluetooth device issue. Perhaps my single biggest let down by the apple brand was the failure of these devices to reliably work for even 30 min without some glitch often major. Good luck - it seems that at least some of them work!
