      Yes you can, but depends how long you will be out, and how long you will be calling with, or how lon Yes you can, but depends how long you will be out, and how long you will be calling with, or how long are you going to listen music, for my experience I use just ones at time, listen music the whole day at work but I call a lot too like almost 7 hrs latter I have change it, So yes you can leave the case at home...! anyway each earbud have the same controls, MFB, Volume +-.       Although it's not included in the marketing material, iMore is reporting that Beats has confirmed in a marketing flier sent out to reviewers that the PowerBeats Pro carry an IPX4 rating.

      An IPX4 rating means that the product has been validated for effectiveness against ingress by splashing water: "Water splashing against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect."

      The Powerbeats Pro are not rated for submersion in water.

      I do, so I'd say yes. I'm sure that the case has circuitry to avoid overcharging, and possibly toast I do, so I'd say yes.
