Charging Wattage

The iPhone 6s is meant to receive 5 Wattage at 1 amps through the charger in order to get a reasonable speed of charge, not damage the overall capacity of the battery and prevent battery recalibration. By using higher wattage it can alter the lifespan of the device. With this been advertised as 10W will this change when delivered to the iPhone and if not, would Apple still repair a device damaged by something they sell on their site that isn't actually Apple branded?
