  • For two years, storage for my late 2012 iMac with has been configured as follows:
    - startup disk: 1.12 TB Fusion drive
    - FireWire connection: external 3TB SATA with two partitions
    (1) disk2s2
    570GB (/Volumes/WINSHARE):
    Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format
    Purpose: 80GB Parallels VM (/Volumes/WINSHARE/Windows 7.pvm)
    (2) disk2s3
    2.43TB (/Volumes/WABAC):
    Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format
    Purpose: Time Machine repository
