Will this cable connect an Apple TV 4K to a 1080p Sony XBR3 TV?

Hello, I just bought this cable to connect my Apple TV 4K to a Sony XBR3 1080p TV. Will it work for this purpose? The reason I bought this specific cable is because I intend to upgrade the Sony 1080p TV to a 4K model in December. Thanks for your help.

  • Yes, it will connect with m no problems. All the newer cables are backwards compatible. And the cable will still be good when you upgrade your TV in the future to 4K or 8K. It will also do ARC and HDR.
