Does this case charge the AirPods?

No. This is like your phone case, but for AirPods. You have to insert your whole AirPods case into this. However you have the option of connecting your charger through the bottom opening in this case to charge your AirPods case without removing this cover every time you have to charge. Also your AirPods get charged as usual through your AirPods case which is located inside this case. Simply saying, this is like an additional protection case on top of your original AirPods case.
