Has anyone successfully used this hardware with an Apple Thunderbolt Display mounted directly on a gyp board/metal stud wall?

    It's common sense to never attach something as heavy as an iMac to gyp board. Put a cross piece horizontally anchoring in your studs and then attach to the cross piece. Plugs are good for hanging pictures or a lite mirror, but never hang something this heavy from some plastic plugs unless you have insurance.
