How does ecobee handle multiple rooms with differences that are both above and below the set temperature?
If I set the thermostat to 72, and then one room is 65 while another is 78, how does it adjust? Obviously, it can't turn the heating and cooling on at the same time. Are there additional vent controllers that need to be purchased? Does it understand outside temperature and forecasts so it knows the probable temperature direction? Are other techniques employed to adjust the temperatures in the house? Obviously, the whole house doesn't need to be the same temperature, so could it understand individual room targets instead, so that it can account for places like the basement vs the loft which are almost never the same temperature? Would love some explanation of how ecobee handles these issues.
