Why can't I use a normal plug adaptor for my MacBook Air? I have a UK plug and need to use in Spain, why do I need to buy this adaptor kit?

I want to use a normal plug adaptor to go from UK to EU plug type on my MacBook Air.

What cable do i buy for my ipad air so i can use the uk adaptor. The only thing that i see in the kit is the adaptor but no cable. So what cable?

I purchased an adapter with six adapters and I want to know which adapter will work in the UK? Do I use the one marked "Continental Europe"?

The adapter kit box is marked M8794G/B.

Does this product work for iPhone 6 and does this product work in the UK? (In response to reviews - wondering if the product has been updated)

In the reviews for this product, I see that one person has claimed that it does not work for an iPhone 6, and another person say that the adapter kit does not properly fit UK outlets. Is this still an issue?

On other products, Apple has a list of what models are compatible with the item. That would be helpful, seeing how I have an iPhone 6, and would like to know from an expert if this product will work for me.

Also, why would the Kit contain an incorrect adapter? It is the job of the manufacturers to ensure that the product is correct and does what it claims to do, so why have people found issues with it?

Will this charger work in Ireland (not Northern Ireland)?

The description says it will work in the UK, but it's not clear whether they consider Northern Ireland and mainland Ireland the same. Thanks!
