They currently don't have any on here. I have not been able to find one yet that fits the 2020 MacBook Air properly. The answer above me is not correct, the size IS different and the previous gens will not fit correct as the MacBook Air 2020 is a tad thicker. Hope this helps.

Probably. It seems to have for me. There are no vents on the bottom, unlike hard shells I've used in the past. For the past few weeks that I've been using it, the fan has been running full speed - loudly enough that in meetings I just shut the laptop down out of embarrassment. I tried resetting SMC and NVRAM, but nothing helped until I removed the case, and magically the problem went away.

It's more harmful to leave that delicate aluminum case uncovered! By all means, use the cover!
I had one on my old Mac book pro and it did not scratch it at all, in fact it helped to not get it scratched. It does not have waterproof capability. There are open areas.
