fax modem
I am using imac, OS version 10.6.8. I could not find a new fax modem at the on line Apple Store. The answer for my question at on-line support was Express Modem Card installation, but I don't think it applies to imac model at all. So, I don't know what's solution for sending and receiving fax in imac computer, if any. I am a PC user, and imac is my first Apple computer. Thanks.

Best Answer:No, but don't forget it's just an adaptor - it isn't supposed to be a "cord" as well. Because the other side of the adaptor is female VGA, you will still need a male-male VGA cable to run to your screen/projector - and that cable will come in a variety of lengths.

Best Answer:Short answer: yes.
Long answer: yes, because the Thunderbolt standard is based on Mini-DisplayPort; so any cable that will work with the previous Mini-DisplayPort standard should work with Thunderbolt.- Answered by Ronald N from Fresno

Answer
No, this is only for the MacBook Air, Macbook Pro, and iMac computer lines. For an iPhone 4 you need the Apple 30-pin to VGA Adapter. If you are using an iPhone 5 you need the Apple Lightning to VGA Adapter.

AnswerThe computer that you have will probably have the larger display port. Which is not compatible with the mini display cable that would fit the thunderbolt port.
