Answer
As of this writing, according to the Apple Store web site:
"The World Travel Adapter Kit includes a set of seven AC plugs with prongs that fit different electrical outlets around the world, each laser-etched with the regions they are compatible with. For world travelers, this is the perfect kit to ensure power connectivity in most countries you may travel to. The AC plugs included in the World Travel Adapter Kit directly support outlets in North America, Japan, China, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, and Brazil."
However, according worldstandards.eu, there are 15 different types of electrical plugs (A-O) in use today. In viewing their global map, it appears there are five different plugs in use on the African continent. Therefore, it depends on your travels which plug standard would be used and if the world Travel Adapert Kit would accomodate each country. Lastly, worldstandards.eu also states: "sometimes multiple systems are used within one and the same country".- Answered by Steve M from Litchfield

I understand that there is a difference between Type C European and Type C for Brazil.
This comes from our hotel ... "Type C is the most common here in Abadiania. . Make sure the two pin is designated specifically for Brazil. Europe also uses a Type C but the prongs are thicker and do not work here."- Asked by Stephen B from El Cerrito
