    Save your money

Tech 21 should not be allowed to sell a product like this. I had high hopes for a anti-glare screen protector I could use in the office. This should have and could have delivered. The application process wasn't horribly difficult but Tech 21 forgot to include one major component, a screen cleaner. All that is included is a microfiber cloth. This doesn't do an effective enough job for removing all the micro dust which causes the screen to look fuzzy. I was able to get at the bubbles out and get it looking like it was on like a pro, until I turned the screen on, than it was a whole different story. There is no chance of peeling this back and trying again, if it isn't perfect you live with it or say goodbye to $35. I unfortunately had to say goodbye to $35. Not at all recommended.

I will give them some credit, the applicator piece that slides on to your phone allows it to line up perfectly. Kudos on that I guess.

    Very easy to apply!

Unlike many other films, this one comes with an easy to understand instruction, as well as a handy removable, plastic alignment tool which you can affix to the bottom of the phone and align the bottom of the film - you then use the provided plastic card to slowly apply the film from the bottom whilst pushing out air bubbles. Managed to get it done without any bubble trapped in the middle, applying film was never this easy.

I have yet to drop or crush the phone, so I have no idea how good it is as a "protector" but given that the film is made by BASF (well-known German chemical firm), I assume it must do a half-decent job. Insofar as its function as "anti-glare" goes, it seems to do its job well enough.

Since you buy these things more or less for peace of mind, I give 5 stars for ease of application alone. In case anyone is wondering, yes, it fits the new iPhone 5SE.

    It's great

I don't usually like screen protectors but this one is fine. Almost invisible in use (can just see the edge round the home button) and incredibly easy to apply. I am very glad I bought it.

    Fantastic Product.

I got this protector at the same time as getting the new 6s. Easy to fit, it comes with a guide so you don't overlap the fingerprint reader. It is thicker than protectors I have for all my other devices. AND it went on first time bubble free!! Really worth the money.

    Decent protection with good clarity

The installation is actually quite easy with the included guide. Slip the guide on, try laying the protector on the get a feel before the actual installation. Slowly and carefully lay it down and there should be very little bubbles you need to push out.

The surface is matte and does a good job reducing glare and fingerprints. I have been using Power Support's anti-glare before trying this one out for a change, and I would say they perform more or less similar in terms of glare and fingerprints. As with all matte screen protectors, they will cause some very slight grainy feel to the images, but it is hard to notice unless you look for it. This protector had a reasonable balance between fingerprints, glare and clarity

I haven't have any experience yet that would put its shock absorbing ability to the test (nor do I want to...), but several reviews and videos I have seen would at least give me a bit of confidence. As for durability, I have not yet used this long enough to give an idea.

The only thing I don't like too much is that the cut-out around the fingerprint sensor is quite wide, probably to prevent any potential interference with it. Personally, I have not have any problem using the fingerprint sensor with screen protector having tighter cut-out, but then again, it seems that most other screen protectors for 5s now similarly have this large cut-out. This isn't a deal-breaker for me, but I would be happier if the cut-out is smaller.

Bought this shield and had it installed in store by a guy who spent considerable time aligning, removing dust from the screen and making sure it was bubble free all in the first attempt.

6 weeks later the shield is lifting off the screen. I spoke with the phone store and they said "nothing we can do" I then contacted Tech 21 customer service via email explaining the "product fault" and received a "we are sorry to hear that" reply

They also included their warrenty disclaimer which basically says you are only covered if you leave the shield in the box!!!!!!

A total waste of money, save yourself and get a $5 protector instead - they do the same job.

Fits on my iPhone 5s perfectly, and feels great.
To take all the air bubbles out, I slid my credit card across the iPhone.

    Do not by this product!

What a waste, worst screen protector install ever!

Do not by this product. I have successfully installed many screen protectors on my iPhones over the years and this install one came out terrible.

    It is a rip off.

It was a waste of $34.95.

This is absolutely the best screen-shield I've ever used.
Application using included frame was flawless.
Fit is perfect and no issues with raising at the home button. Also fits perfect with Tech21 impact mesh case.
Highly recommended another top notch Tech21 product. If ever there was an accessory manufacturer to meet the high standards that are Apple this would be that company.

Waste of money. Poor Quality / Bad design

I take impeccable care of my iPhones and iPads. I bought this for my iPhone 5 and it went on perfectly, without a single bubble. The problem is within three weeks it started to lift up around the home button because it does not completely surround the button. Instead it comes to a very narrow point on each side of the bottom of the button. This narrow point is where it started to lift off and from there it got worse quickly. I emaiiled the manufacturer per Apple's recommendation and I was told that the "One Year Warranty" does not cover 'peeling', I am not sure what that leaves that the warranty would cover. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time and money on this screen protector.
