    Awesome, so far ...

I've had this cable for a couple of years and I love it! Mind you, I only use it on my night stand so it doesn't get a lot of "heavy" use. The wear and tear is minimal, I guess you could say. At any rate, it's always felt like a very sturdy, high quality cable and is also quite attractive to look at. I am about to purchase another one that will more than likely get a little more use so I may amend my review in the near future if need be.

    Very sturdy

I purchased this to allow me to charge the phone while sitting on nightstand and let me talk/text while charging without getting out of bed. The cord feels much sturdier than the apple lightening cable that came with my phone. I no longer feel like it's going to come apart when unplugging my phone from the charger. The little ball holds the cable on the stand so I don't have to rummage around on the floor looking for it. I only rated 4 starts due to price only. Paying $40.00 for a 10 ft power cord is a bit much. But if it works for the long haul, I guess I'm good.

    Repeatedly fails. Don't buy it.

Tomorrow I will be returning this cable to Apple. This is the THIRD cable I have had and just like the last two it has failed after less than 3 months of use. I really wanted this to work as it was a great length and looked good. But it doesn't last. Don't waste your money. If you do decide to take a chance on it, make sure you keep your receipt. You'll probably need it.

    Waste of money!

It worked for 2 weeks. Will not charge at all anymore. My daughter bought one and she is having trouble with hers also.

    Not Good At All

I got this charger as a gift and only used in in my bedroom because it stretches to my bed. I never took it out with me or anything. It broke after 2 weeks of me hardly using it, for no apparent reason. I emailed the company (native union) telling them what had happened and they sent me a new one. The exact thing happened to my new one, and once again I had hardly used it, it never moves from my wall and i only use it at night. wish i could give this charger 0 stars bc it was so bad and i aint even being salty, it was just really that BAD!

    Absolutely the best

Hands down the best cable ever. Durable. The weight helps it stay put. It is pricey but the quality makes it worth it.

    Quality

I love this cable. The weight makes life so much easier so it doesn't fall off the bed whenever you unplug it. I love the quality feel of it, and will be purchasing another strictly for travel!

    Quickly breaks

I bought this cable because I needed the long length and, as far as I know, it's the only 3m Lightning cable available at the time of purchase. I had used the griffin and Mophie 3m cables in the past, both of which lasted roughly 11 months. However, this Native Union cable only lasted 4 weeks of normal use charging at night on the bedside table. Now the cable does not charge unless tightly bent at 180* to itself and the "this accessory may not be supported" message comes up every time.

The weighted movable part of the cable is a nice idea but in my opinion is a bit cumbersome and in reality not that useful.

I will exchange the cable for a new one and update how long that lasts.
