    First Choice

I've used the Belkin TrueClear on two iPhones, and I won't use anything else. They don't lift off in the heat or after use, like cheaper ones do, and they do their job. I've dropped my phone a lot - including off a treadmill - and it has protected my screen. I buy one and it lasts the life of my phone, which is SO much better than buying a cheap set once a month in the hopes that this one might stay on.

Apple staff are less inclined to install them for you these days, as abuse from customers who change their mind or aren't happy is on the rise. But ask nicely and understand that unless they majorly mess it up (break the protector, giant airbubbles, bend it etc), there is no refund or replacement. They are doing you an unpaid favour installing it (and honestly, every staff member who has helped me and my family install these is an actual wizard.)

Loses a star because the iPhone 6 version isn't flush with the edges of the phone - even with a case on, there is a .5cm gap between the edge of the case and the edge of the protector, which makes me feel mine was cut before the specs of the iPhone 6 was released (considering I got it 6 months after release, that's annoying).

    Not worth the amount paid

Pros: They put it on for you in the store with a device that places it in the exact place and they get all the air bubbles out for you, seems strong
Cons: Screen gets scratched easily, doesn't cover the veritical sides of the screen leaving the sides exposed, really sharp edges that hurt your hands!
Not worth £19.95 at all! Seems like a good knockoff of a decent version

Fits well but weak on scratches

This screen protector has a unique installation frame that makes it very easy to install. I never had an issue with air bubbles or loose corners. I usually keep my phone in my pants' pocket by itself. Yesterday I had it in my pocket with my wife's phone (in a plastic case). The plastic case severely scratched the screen protector. I would understand if keys or something metal scratched the protector, but a plastic case? I'll be looking for a different product to replace my scratched screen protector.

    Doesn't work

Bought this per the recommendation from an Apple employee. Dropped my phone ONCE with this on and my entire screen shattered. Not worth it!!

Fitting is fiddly, but worth it

    Don't bother

The only good thing about this is that it's fitted perfectly in store. If there's bubbles they will fix it for you.
It scratches so easily that it makes your nice new phone look worn within a day or two. It's not worth £20 for something so disposable.

would buy again and have Apple install at their store using Belkin fixture

I've used a lot of different films with all my iOS devices, and was initially hesitant at spending extra than even Power Support films, but the quality in terms of transparence as well as feel of finger of this Belkin film is better than any other ones I've ever used. Plus, having an Apple sales person install it was great too to ensure zero bubbles.
It is overpriced, but worth it for a new iPhone.

Seems to be ok for now.

I just bought this screen protector today. I'll say installing it was not as easy as the video said it would be. The top layer of the screen protector did not peel off so easy and I had to get stronger tape to finally get it off. Other than that the install was easy with the alignment frame and it feels nice. I like the glass feel screen protectors over plastic ones.

    For scratches. Not for drops!!!

The screen protectors are made so your screen won't get scratched or scuffed while like in your backpack or purse or while slid on top of a table. Not to protect it from the screen getting broken when dropped. Common sense people.

    Great product!

This is a great screen protector. I have been using Zagg protectors for years but this one you cant tell there is anything there. I would recommend having it installed at the apple store as they have a device that installs it perfectly. Also if you drop your phone on its screen the screen might still break! Laws of physics still apply!

    Warning! No protection guarantee!

Phone was dropped a month after putting on film. Screen smashed to smithereens. Belkin do not guarantee protection. Screen protector was fine though! Waste of money as its the screen I wanted to protect and a £5 protector would have done the same bad job. Apple please stop endorsing this and sell a cover that has a guarantee.

    Screen shattered, protector didn't

After dropping my phone (in a case) on to concrete while getting out of the car, the screen shattered, but at least it still has a nice mint condition screen "protector" on it. The only thing I can say is that I'm not cutting my fingers or face on the broken iphone glass because the screen protector is not broken. Maybe they should call this a skin protector.

    Expensive lemon

This case sounds and looks great at first, however the top film was stuck to the screen, more so than the instructional video made it to be. The top film would just not separate from the screen and dust and fingerprints accumulated while attempting to seemingly easily separate one from another as I'm sure has been the case for many. Unfortunately not for me, I am fully capable especially with my hands but when things are stuck, well...my case is ruined, $40 for nothing other than the experience and this review. Will stick to OEM APPLE products.

    Very Disappointed

I thought this would be a great cover for my new iPhone 6s, however when I applied the screen protector, first of all it did not cover the entire screen, and two lots of little bubbles formed after I covered my screen. I followed all of the instructions, and thoroughly cleaned my screen with the cloth provided hoping to avoid bubbles and dust being caught between the cover and screen protector. And this price way too much, I thought I was getting a good quality product, but this was a ripoff I'm sorry to say. I feel like I followed all of the instructions that came with this protector, and there was nothing more I could have done. Some of the reviews on here say it worked great, so perhaps it was me doing something wrong. And it would have been a good cover because as described, it does not glare and it reads when you touch the screen. But and air caught between is just bad quality, I truly think I followed the step by step instructions, which are very plain and simple and easy to understand. I do not recommend anyone to buy this product.

Well its close to being good but it's awful.

The applicator is a good idea but the screen protector doesn't actually fit the screen. The edge of the screen protector has made my thumb rougher. The screen is very smooth but scratches easily. All in all this product comes with a premium price but is terrible.
    Do not get this.

Easy to install, but that's about it.

This was easy to install, but really, I've been able to install other glass protectors without the frame without a problem. The frame is the only good thing about this product in my opinion. It is a fingerprint magnet as it has no coating on it to resist oils and prints. The screen felt oily instantly and left a rainbow effect. I had to constantly wipe it clean. It is also rough around all the edges including the home button. I found a tempered glass screen protector, with an oleophobic coating and rounded edges for $5 at a five-dollar-or-less discount store that works much better.

Does not even cover the entire viewable screen

Not talking about edge to edge, I understand there needs to be some space for cases, however it doesn't even cover the entire viewable area of the screen with about half a mm too small on each side. i.e if you have a white front face phone, it does not cover the entire black screen!!!!!! How dare Belkin sell a defected product to the mass market, and how dare Apple support it by selling it on their website/stores... unbelievable!!

I had it for a while and it worked great, then I dropped it 2 feet onto the street and the phone screen shattered and not the glass protector. Why did I pay $30 for this if it didn't even work?

    Loved it

I have now used 2 of these. One on a iPhone 6+ and one on a 6S. They are super easy to apply with the alignment frame that comes with the product. Perfect alignment. The screen has to be pristine clean before application and you should definitely apply it in an area that is not dusty or windy. Any single piece of dust in the air will call a bubble. I had no problems with application and they both have held up well. One is 7 months old and the other is 3 months old.

I am ordering a third one for another 6S phone.

For the 6+ phone I use this protector with both a simple apple leather case and when i am doing hardcore outdoor work I put the phone in a Lifeproof Nuud case. I use the Belkin Invisiglass to help protect the screen from scratches in both applications, but I do not view it as a completely protective product. I feel for those who have cracked their screen under the Invisglass, but if you drop these larger iPhones it is certainly likely that you are going to crack the glass underneath even a scratch protector like this.

My rating is based upon: Clarity, Ease of application, Scratch Resistance, Versatility when utilized in different cases.
