    Beautifully Almost Invisible

After seeing so many negative reviews, I almost did not invest in this case for my new MacBook Air. But, I figured Apple usually has the highest quality products in the Apple Store, and I wanted something to protect my Mac with the perfect fit that still allows me to enjoy its appearance and sleekness. I was not disappointed at all! This case snapped onto the top and bottom easily and stays on whether opened or closed. The directions were clear and concise and very easy to follow. My experience appears to be way different from everyone else's, but I am very pleased.

This case breaks (cracks) far too easy, and could damage the Macbook!

In four month time, I have had two of these covers. Both covers started cracking at the corners immediately after they were fitted. The plastic is simple not strong enough, not even for very light use.

To make things even worse, a small piece of cracked plastic from the top case fell into the hinge, and damaged the aluminium top case of the MacBook (just above the menu bar) !!!

***Be careful about buying this case if you care about your MacBook!!***

    Corners cracked after two months.

For a 50$ case, I would expect it to last longer. The corners of mine have cracked without any shock. Wouldn't recommend.

    Not good

Sorry to say but this product is not very good. After a short time it already has broken corners leading to sharp edges that catch you as you handle your laptop. Not worth the money at all.

Slight improvements needed but good case

I have had my MacBook air for about 2 years and when i first got it i wanted a good case that was going to protect it. I bought this one from the apple store and have had it ever since, its only in the last few months that it has started to break because of wear and tear and plus I've had it for 2 years and im a student so its bound to start to crack considering its a plastic case. The only problem i do have with it is that i am the type of person that likes my apple devices to be spotless and this case allows hairs and fibres to get underneath the case which isn't fantastic, so that needs improved but other than that i find this a nice case to have for your laptop along with the travel case that i have in black which i also would recommend.

    Not impressed

I have had this case for 4 months and it is already falling apart. It falls off my laptop, the corners have cracked, etc. and I am very gentle with it. Not worth the money as it only lasts a few months.

    Broken

Bought it in September, traveled a lot with it, but never anything rowdy. It was always in a sleeve, so it was not just the case and my MacBook. It has been cracking and doesn't not stay on my laptop anymore. The plastic is cheap and unstable. Would not recommended.

    disappointed

I bought this case at an Apple Store and am pretty disappointed with the quality. After about 1 month of use, small cracks started developing on all four corners of this case. I have never dropped it and always transport it with the use of a sleeve, so I am not sure why these cracks in the case have formed. Too expensive for the level of quality.

    Makes a Squeaking Noise

Returned this immediately after purchase. It made an annoying squeaking noise when you opened and closed the MacBook due to the pieces in the back of the case rubbing against one another. I did confirm that it was put on correctly, it was just a bad fit.

    Horrible covers

I usually do not like to write negative reviews but I want to help prevent what happened to me to happen to someone else! So I purchased 3 of these cases for 3 MacBook Air for my employees. 2 of the cases made scraping or creaking sounds when opening and closing MacBooks. The third case seemed to fit better and make no noise when opening and closing. However, I decided to return them all. They fit so snuggly that taking the covers off is a real chore. When I tried to remove the cover on one of the MacBooks the force of trying to remove the thin cover severely damage the monitor!! It pulled the aluminim surround off several millimeters. Disappointed at Incase because I know they usually make good products.

Very poor design - scratches wrists as you type!

Is it just me?! This is a fine case protection-wise, but the clamps holding the front of the base protrude so that they scratch my wrists as I type! An idiotic design decision.

    Not happy.

    No thanks.

After having this on my brand new MacBook Air for about 2 months it has left a ugly scratch on it. I don't recommend this at all.

    Bought 3, none fit

I went to the Mac store in Costa Mesa in order to purchase a cover for the macbook air 13". I bought 3 different cases, hoping one would fit because I like the look of the cover, but tried them on my laptop and none of them fit properly. None of the cases would snap onto the bottom of the laptop. I dont mean the snaps in the very back, but the ones in the middle. Both the right and left side clips in the middle of the case should snap, but they didnt. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I'd stay away from these and buy something elsewhere if you can. Two hours later and no laptop cover. I'm bummed!

    Prevents opening laptop smoothly

This case doesn't fit well. When you open the lid it gets stuck around 90 degrees, and requires a firm push to skip over the poorly fitted plastic shell. A number of customers have reported that this ultimately leads to the case cracking, and obviously puts unnecessary strain on the hinge of your laptop lid.

When you're likely spending upwards of £2000 on a laptop you don't want a case that prevents your lid from opening smoothly, and if you have to replace the case every few months when the corners snap off it'll start getting expensive fast.

I'm doubly disappointed because the case looks fantastic, and feels great in your hands. If only I never had to open my laptop it'd be perfect! Unfortunately, as the keyboard, trackpad, and screen are hidden away inside this case is unabashedly, fundamentally broken.

another great Incase shell although pattern is so-so

I've purchased several Incase shells in the past and they always fit well and is well designed with good quality. I'm not a big fan of the dimple-ish pattern which doesn't show up well in the product photos. I purchased a clear one and happy with it.
