    Product can really help you

I've had mine for about 3 months and it's really helped me move more and understand my moments. Reminding me to take a breath or that my breathing is tense is a great reminder to stop and refocus. If you are unsatisfied, call the company and tell them what is wrong. I'll bet they will help you - they did with me on an issue.

    Quite good so far

I'm only on week one but mine has worked great so far. I have a very stressful job and need reminders to stop and breathe! I also enjoy the meditations and exercises that are available on the app. I think it's definitely a worthwhile purchase if you are interested in this kind of feedback.

Great idea, but it fails miserably

I love the idea of Spire but it just doesn't work. I will wear it and then it tells me I need to readjust. Constantly readjusting and it still will only reads a third of the time. Rarely notifies me to take a deep breath, even though it should. Even the vibration is too subtle to feel unless I am standing still. They need to go back to the drawing board and I am out over a hundred bucks. And when I gave it a good chance, I am now told I can't return it due to the time frame. Not Happy

    not impressed

It's a cool little gadget, but knowing what I know now would I purchase it again? No. First of all, it doesn't always work. Since the most recent update it "unpairs" itself and is unable to go back and retrieve the data, even though it's supposed to store up to 6 hours. That part broke with the last update.

If you are someone who is completely out of touch with your body, stresses easily and needs a reminder to breath or to chill, it may be useful for you. Evidently I am a very calm and focused person with an average of 8 minutes per day (of the hours it actually registers) of "tense". And unless your phone is practically touching you, it doesn't actually remind you in real time that you are tense, or sedentary.

Aside from that, the information it provides is not as earth shatteringly awesome as I thought it would be. I was pretty excited the first week but after that, kind of the same old same old.

    Not recommended

It gets disconnected for days and all the data get lost. Vibrating on and off with out any reason. If you wear at sleep,You will wake up. It says you are tense on and off but I don't think those times I was tensed.it count steps. But intensity of the activity is not monitored.

    Great product, disappoining outcome

Mindfulness is entirely about being in the present moment. I mistakenly assumed the pebble would vibrate to alert me to moments that would benefit from greater attention. I know I could benefit in those tense moments when I had fogotten to relax and breathe. Instead it reports long after the event, when it's too late to do anything about it. I don't need to be told that I've been tense in the past, I already know that. I want to know about it while it's happening.

This does not work, will not record any activity either fitness or breathes, have tried it in all recommended positions and it is paired but will not record the data. Simply states "no streaks today" maybe I'm dead? Don't buy It has caused me so much stress - the opposite of what it's meant to do!

Great device that reminds me to relax when it's needed the most. Just watching your breath rise and fall in the app already is quite relaxing.
Definitely a device a would recommend buying. It does have a noticeable effect on battery life of my iPhone 6, however, although to me that's a minor inconvenience to an otherwise great product!

Not a fitness tracker, a mindfulness tracker it is

I started mindfulness about a month ago with my therapist to treat rage issues and fear of flying. It has helped me a lot and well results have been very positive. About three weeks ago I saw this device at an Apple Store in Miami so I chose to give it a try.
It is a clip that goes inside your pants (or bra) and measures your breathing activity. Bluetooth must be on but it is not battery consuming at all. It shows your way of breathing to know if you are tense, calm or focused. It is amazing how it can tell if you are tense and it vibrates and shows a notification when a tense pattern is shown (above 2 mins but it can be customized) and reminds you to breathe.
In theory it tracks steps and activity but I have never used this feature. I think an accurate way to track steps is the apple watch or a fitbit (I wear a Jawbone UP4, it helps me track my sleep).
Another cool feature is that is has several audio guides that provide mindfulness advice about eating, working and a lot of other stuff.
I strongly advice this device as a mindfulness tracker and aids in professional therapy and not as a fitness device.

    Great hardware, horrible software

Used to be great hardware AND software but the last update has made me abandon this device. The app flat out is simply infuriating trying to get to the information you want to see, ironic considering the intent. They changed SO MUCH without any notice, all in one fell swoop, and now everything just seems like a giant mess with very little thought given to the UX experience. So upset with this company basically voiding my purchase because of the bad update. Seek other tools!

    Increases Mindfulness

I was sitting down to dinner with friends at a fancy restaurant. Finances have been tight for me and when I opened the menu I was very taken aback by how pricey the food was. Just then my SPIRE buzzed at me and my phone notified me "you seem a little tense". I took a deep breath and enjoyed my sea bass and a wonderful evening with friends. This feature is amazing, just the reminder I need because we all know that worry only makes things worse, just a quick buzz and I'm able to let it go!

    Terrible device.

This is hard to wear. Did not function from the beginning. Is terrible as a fitness tracker - there are many options and brands out there that are more comfortable and are more functional. It cost $150.00 and was endorsed by Apple yet when I can't make it work and it not a quality device, Apple tells me that their policy is 14 days and to return to manufacturer even though Apple advertises it and takes payment for it. Not happy at all and I would not recommend this device.

    Love this product~

Absolutely love this product. Great real-time feedback on when I'm feeling tense so I can step back and take a few breaths to reset. I've also noticed some patterns around common times when I'm tense which has been useful. Great customer service -- my first Spire was defected and they quickly sent out an overnight shipping label and got a new one in the mail asap. I'm interested in more analytics and it sounds like they are working on that in a redesigned app. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get some feedback on their stress levels!

    very nice

This tracker has done a good job predicting when i need to take a breath or take a walk. With an office job that's really helpful. Sitting is the new smoking...

I really like the way it charges without a cable. I had a fitbit previously and eventually stopped wearing it because the charging was a hassle. My first spire wouldn't recharge, but i was able to get a replacement without any trouble and it's working just fine.
