Nice Case but Poor Cable access.

Although the headphone and Lightning port access cut outs in the case look sufficiently large. They are not! Apple's own headphones and Lightning cables catch ever so slightly on the edges. I have to take extra effort to push the case out of the way to get the plugs in. Many 3rd party cables are even larger and therefor will definitely not work with this case. Very disappointing because I love the feel and look of the Evo Mesh. Two stars for that reason.

    Holy Cow

My back hatch of my car was open when I pulled out of my driveway and my purse and phone feel out while driving. Not a scratch or break. This case really works.

    Great case!

I'm on my 2nd Tech21 case now, purely because I like to colour change (about to order my 3rd) it fits perfectly and unlike other cheaper gel cases, I don't keep catching my hair on the sides when taking/making calls! All ports are easily accessible with the case on. Fits perfectly in the car holder without removing the cover.
I've dropped my phone a few times and has protected it well to date, especially the corners.
My only bug bear is the clear back tends to discolour very quickly but it's only something I've noticed, no one else has!

    Great, Elegant Case!

This clear case is amazing as it shows off my gold finish on my iPhone 6s. Not only that, it's also a very protective case that'll protect my phone.

Good Protection but Gets Yellow Quickly

The case looked nice when new and has offered good drop protection (dropped my phone a few times, no damage). However, I can confirm the information in a prior review that the case gets yellow quickly and looks grimy, no matter how much you try cleaning it. Unless the quality of the plastics has improved, my experience with the white version suggests a life expectancy of 6-12 months. After that, it looks embarrassingly dirty and needs replacing.

    Pity, otherwise a great case.

Great case, but has discolor to it.

I bought Tech 21 case in white when i got my new iPhone and i loved it! The case had a good grip to it and whenever i dropped my phone my screen was fine and my phone itself. The only thing I don't like about this product is that after a few months, the white pretty color started to turn brown. Which made it look old and dirty. Otherwise a good case.

Uncomfortable to use, makes phone too wide, poor quality

I was disappointed with this case, due to both its design and manufacture.

When fitted, the case makes the 6S plus very wide, too wide to hold comfortably in one hand. I advise comparing this case against others in store if you can, and try the case on your phone.

The "Advanced Impact Protection" does not extend around all 4 sides of the case, the bottom section by the ports does not have the additional protection mounded into it so the bottom edge of your phone is less protected. Also the edges of the case around the ports are not comfortable on the hand, especially when supporting the bottom of the phone with a finger.

Finally the case I purchased had a very pronounced moulding line around the edge, obviously from the manufacturing process. This again made the case uncomfortable to use.

Given the cost of this case, I expected a better quality product. It may be better on the iPhone 6, but for the 6 plus it doesn't work well.

    No Drop Protection!!

I dropped my phone with this Tech 21 Evo Mesh Sport Case from 2 Feet. My phone landed on the corner and my screen was shattered. While at the Apple store to get a repair I met a girl who had the same experience with this Tech 21 Evo Mesh Case. Cost me a lot of money for a new screen.

    Excellent Case!

I had one of the original Tech21 bumper cases for my iPhone 5 and loved it, with the one exception of the buttons being much to hard to press. A-

I then upgraded to iPhone 6 and upgraded to the Trio Band, which fixed the button press issues, but was much thicker than the old band and had plastic edges which cracked over time AND led to some nicks in the back of my phone where some dirt must have gotten compressed by the case over time, leading me to lose a good chunk of change when trading in. C

I'm happy to report that the Tech21 Evo Mesh Sport case is the best Tech21 case I've encountered yet and while I used to prefer the bands, I the feel of the full back and feel it makes this slippery phone much grippier. A+!!!

    feels great in the hand

I've only been using the case for a few days, so cannot speak to how it holds up over time. But this case is actually pleasurable to grip. Most cases feel slippery, but the Evo Sport has superb friction. It also has good access to ports. Adds very little bulk to my 6s. At $40 it is annoyingly expensive.

    best iPhone case I've used

I have tried several cases for my black iPhone 6 Plus, and this is the best. I like it a LOT.

It is by far the grippiest iPhone case I've ever had, and if I place it on my leg while sitting it does not easily slide off, even with nylon or polyester workout pants. The spaces on the bottom for audio and lightning plugs are more adequate than on most cases, and close to ideal. The lip around the screen is more elevated than most, and the design contributes to the ergonomics of holding the iPhone and using it. The material seems likely to be maximally protective in the case of drops, yet it is lightweight and does not add unnecessarily to the bulk of the phone. Its appearance is not as cool as the Evutek kevlar case I had for my iPhone 5s but is not bad and is cooler than the Boxwave case this one replaced. And it is more ergonomic and protective than the Evutek. The lighter color indicating the button and jack locations seems likely to be helpful. Just before leaving for the Apple Store to look at cases, I checked Amazon and the first case listed was priced at $7 with lots of five-star reviews; that made me hesitate to spend $40 on this one. But the advantages are significant enough that I'm glad I did, as the case is already contributing to the usability and enjoyment of my iPhone 6 Plus. The Tech21 designers and engineers really put a lot of imagination, ingenuity, and attention to detail into this case.

Works fine, but gets discolored (brown) quickly

I bought a blue case for my iPhone 6 in February, and a few months later the color started turning brown around the edges, making it look dirty/old. It has gotten significantly worse and now six months later I am looking for a new case as this one looks so unappealing and gives the illusion of being dirty. It's no longer near the bright blue case I bought originally. Pretty disappointing for paying such a premium price.
