    One year later, running great

    • Written by Kyle F from PEKIN

Had this controller for over a year now and I've been extremely pleased with it. The d-pad tracks properly for retro games. The battery exceeds my expectations and the weight and feel of the controller are premium. Had been using primarily with my iPhone, but have started using on Mac as well.

HORIPAD ULTIMATE Wireless Game. Needs more stars.

    • Written by Janet W from TUCSON

I love this game controller. I also love the fact that Apple is making products with Lithium ion rechargeable batteries. Their new keyboard and new track pad. Apple has become the most eco friendly company that I know. Even the new remote to the new apple tv is rechargeable. I myself hate disposing of batteries. They are poisonous to our environment. I want to thank everyone at Apple for doing what needs to be done to save our environment. It also saves the customer money because they don't have to buy batteries. :o) I also looked at the other game controller on Apple's site. It's also rechargeable.

    Perfect for Apply TV 4

    • Written by DJ G from Alexandria

In a sea of MFI gaming controllers that feature older Bluetooth standards and are pretty hit and miss on the new Apple TV, this was the first controller of many that's a consistent hit. Zero lag. Absolutely flawless across the board. Take it from a guy that bought (and returned) many MFI controllers on the way to solid Apple TV gaming. This was where I stopped looking. You should look no further as well.

Amazing! ios and Apple TV developers BETTER take advantage

    • Written by Tobias S from Sunrise

Always have been a big fan of steelseries straightforward design with keyboards.

The same sturdy solid feel comes with the controller. Far from feeling like a cheap madkatz accessory THIS FEELS like it fits within the apple ecosystem.

    Top Notch.

LOVE that it charges off lightning cable too!!

Turns games like OceanHorn from a 1 star rating to a 5 because it woks so well with the game and it feels right!

    Better than the Nimbus

    • Written by John B from Moore

Having used the Nimbus controller in the Apple Store, and owning this controller for a few days (had to have them get it from the back, stye hadn't even put it out yet), I can say wth complete confidence that this controller is so much better. The nimbus is significantly fighter than the Ultimate, which to my surprise, is not a good thing. The weight of the Ultimate makes it feel so much better in the hand. The design itself is much cleaner, with the concave menu button. Also, an unsaid spec of the Ultimate is 4.1 Bluetooth, compared to the Nimbus's 4.0. Not to mention having double the battery life. Also, I have smaller hands, about average size for an adult male, and the Nimbus's R1 and L1 buttons (shoulder buttons, for you that don't know) are very uncomfortable to rest your hands on. For games that play with SNES controls (which a lot of newer games emulate), this is not a problem for the Ultimate. And with your hands resting on double sticks and triggers (for shooters), it is just as comfortable as the Nimbus.

    Unparalleled quality

    • Written by DOUGLAS H from Rancho Palos Verdes

I've tried a few different MFi and android controllers over the years, and each and every one have had some kind of drawback, and build quality and the general feel of most 3rd party controllers have been lacking. This is not the case with the HORIPAD ULTIMATE. This controller has a weight and feel that just exudes quality. It is definitely worthy to be paired with your Apple device of choice. The buttons, d-pad, and other components are all respond perfectly with excellent feedback and feel. A great controller at an excellent price.

    Stellar

    • Written by David W from San Francisco

The look, weight, and feel of this controller is incredible. They even made a concave Menu button to match the iPhone home button. If you are a fan of the PS4 controller, this will be your iOS controller of choice. Top notch build all the way around.
