    Complete Junk

    I read all of the negative other reviews and thought, "maybe they were just unlucky." Nope. I decided to buy one from the Apple Store to test it out. Every other HomeKit device in my home has set up flawlessly; Philips Hue, Ecobee, August Smart Lock. The iDevices switch simply would not connect to my network. I followed their instructions (which were incomplete) and I used my own intuition, but nothing worked. I'm taking this back to the store tomorrow. I'm surprised that this device was able to get HomeKit approval, and more surprised that Apple actually sells this in the store. Unless significant updates occur, save yourself the hassle of returning it.

    I have two of these for 2 months and no issues

    I have owned two of these for 2 months and so far I have had no issues with them. Just make sure you update their firmware and when you pair the device don't use the camera to enter the device key in the app, instead enter it manually.

    I'm using it with iOS 10 and it works great with HomeKit app. In fact better than the idevices app, which itself is a solid app too.

    doesn't work as advertised

    taking these back tomorrow to the store. the instructions suggest this will be an easy 3-4 step process. not at all. device self identifies differently than its label. software is flakey, doesn't see device half the time. mandatory use of iCloud keychain -- why?

    Works Perfectly

    Purchased 3 of these in August 2016 and did the latest update.Has worked flawlessly in both the idevices app, but more importantly in the home app on iOS 10 public beta. I am assuming there was an update since some of the last reviews were written so I'd give them a shot. I would buy more but I would prefer to wait for the the iDevices wall switch for my hardwired items. Highly recommended with the current updates.

    Perfect for my needs

    I bought two of these. Until recently I had trouble consistently connecting to the switches using the iDevices App on my iPhone 6 when I was away from home. I traded email with iDevices customer support and they were very responsive and kept me informed along the way. Very impressive given how often I am disappointed by other companies.

    The latest iDevices firmware and App revisions completely eliminated the connectivity problems. Now I can monitor and operate the switches from anywhere. I would highly recommend this company and this product.

    fast setup, works well

    I enjoyed my iDevices switches, right out of the box. It works great via app or even Siri, including from my Apple Watch. We have had some Wifi problems (not unique to iDevices - the laptop has been struggling too) but the iDevices team has been super helpful and friendly.

    Love it. Working awesome!!!

    Just a perfect product. It works awesome. It did take some effort to connect to my wifi and get the app setup but after that it worked great. Siri feature is absolutely awesome!!!

    Will give a 5 even though the app interface can use a lot more improvement. I can afford the $49.99 price not sure how many can afford it...

    Disregard negative reviews

    Bought in Mid Apr 16. Problems have apparently been resolved by firmware update. It connected itself in a minute. Operation is flawless. Using Siri is a hoot. Only problem was in connecting second phone. Support got back to me immediately.Turns out it was a slowdown in iCloud synch. The problem was not with the Device or the App. I intend to get several more. Highly recommended.
