    Really disappointed

    It's bulky.
    It's heavy.
It doesn't fit well at all.
The volume buttons don't work easily through the plastic and are almost impossible to locate by touch alone.
Twice I have thought it was clipped in and has slipped out - which is why it only gets 1 star.

The backlit keyboard is lovely though.

Overpriced and not very well made.

    Nice Case, But Wouldn't Work

I bought this case as the Apple one wasn't available for 3-4 weeks. The Logitech does have advantages in being a full case to protect your iPad, has a dedicated row of iOS shortcut keys and is backlit, all at a cheaper price.

Whilst it's a good keyboard it can add a fair bit of bulk and weight to the iPad Pro. Furthermore, after the first day I kept getting the error message "This accessory is not supported by this iPad" and it wouldn't go away. After speaking to Apple Support I ended up sending the keyboard back as clearly there's an issue with it. Logitech Support have so far been unresponsive.

perhaps back to the drawing board on this one...

Definite positives: the backlit keys are responsive and have a nice feel to them; the case itself is sturdy. Pairing is instant. No charging required. Outer material looks classy.
    BUT
Disappointing: the iPad is a snug fit but I was surprised at the degree of ingenuity (and grunt) required to insert and remove it. Volume and shutdown buttons require a dig of the thumbnail to activate. Only one viewing angle. The first time you fold the case down (again there's only flat viewing angle) the back of the iPad scuffs the keyboard surround before you realise it.

That said, the positives more than compensate for the niggles.

    Very Happy

I just picked up one today and once I got my iPad Pro into the keyboard/case (this was a bit of a mission) I was more than impressed.

    All positives so far:

    * Backlit keys - keyboard feels great to use
    * good protection for the iPad
    * Cheaper than the Apple alternatively which isn't available for weeks
    * Good range of colours I got the red - looks great!

It's heavy as others have said but I am more than happy and recommend.

Overall a quality offering from Logitech

Compared this to the Apple offering and on balance far prefer this option. Yes, it's a bit heavy but let's face it if weight and portability are your primary goals then the iPad Pro is likely not going to be your choice anyway. This is a very well built keyboard cover that offers great protection and a really nice backlit keyboard for someone who's really going to be using the Pro as a laptop replacement. For those who are getting the Pro for "creative" applications that are pencil centric this probably isn't ideal either, as its not easy to get the cover on and off the iPad. But let's face it that's in reality a tiny minority of people who will ultimately get the Pro. If you're looking for a great way to protect your Pro and add a fantastic keyboard, this is a solid choice. Very happy with the product and would definitely recommend it.

Great keyboard, not so great case

If you intend to use the iPad Pro primarily as a touchscreen laptop, this is the case for you. The keyboard is tactile, backlit and a fantastic accessory.

However, if you vary how you use your iPad, this is not the right case:

    * The case only has a single viewing angle, which I found too upright.
    * Fitting and removing the case is difficult - it felt like I was putting too much pressure on the iPad and at any moment, something would crack.
    * The case buttons for power and volume up/down were woefully misaligned to the point of 'what is the point in having them?' - particularly when they are replicated by dedicated keys..
    * Current support for the keyboard - both out-of-the-box and online - is woeful. There were certain keys that remained either functionless or a mystery.

A real shame but given the price, I expected better.

    Dissapointing

I bought the red one at the store and have not been happy with the performance...it seems to have a lag every once in awhile. what happens is the keypad stops communication and all is dead for a couple of seconds then the virtual keyboard pops up and right back down quickly and then a couple of seconds later the logitech keyboard start to work again...I love the case and the complete coverage it gives my ipad pro and the red color...it needs to work and don't know if its software and connection or the keyboard. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Sorry, but better than the apple keyboard for the Pro

I did intend on buying the apple key board, but looking at this in the store, I'm glad I didn't! I bought the red one with the gold keyboard. This one has a backlight which Apple doesn't, it connects in the same way as the apple product. It also has a full cover to protects the corners and back of the pad, and it's £30 cheaper. Logitech do a total of 5 colours, however Apple stock 3. Compare them, you won't be disappointed.
