Terrible product. From the start it was difficult to get it to charge (I needed to push and squeeze it in the charging cradle to find just the perfect position). The bluetooth connectivity was sometimes intermittent. After a month and a half, the power button stuck causing them to be completely useless.

    Do not buy this product.

    No good

I bought these thinking they would be everything they advertised -- wrong. They always seem to need charging, although the "wings" may keep them in your ears, the small ear tips that fit on the end will not stay on. Going from 1 spin bike to another, one dropped off (AGAIN) and I never found it! Now I have to go to another size, another type or order more. And the sound is not very good.

    Rose gold headphones

I like the fact that these are rose gold and cordless. However, this is the second time I have had to replace the form ear tips; this is a design fail on Jaybird's part especially since I expect better quality for $150 headphone. Spend your money elsewhere!

Don't waste your money. The beat skips a lot if you do so much as moving your phone from one hand to another. The earpieces pop out of your ears, the angles in which the little wings that come with it sit in your ear make the earphones slip out, the sound is low, the battery doesn't last. I wish I hadn't been so forgiving and "given it some more time" because the time to return them has already passed and i'm left with technically useless headphones that I paid too much for. never again with this company, i tried to give it a chance after the x2 weren't ideal and it got even worse. It ruins my workouts.

    Didn't hold charge

The sales clerk sold me on these headphones because I do a ton of outdoor activities. So I purchased them with my new iPhone. I had them on the charger for 24 hours I leave the house within 10 minutes I get a message that headphones are turning off because of battery. Within seconds they are dead and I had to use my other headphones. To say I am disappointed is a understatement. I will put them back on the charger if it happens again I will be returning them.

Positive note they are a great fit and sound quality.

    Not impressed

although I do really like these (great look and ear options) headphones (I bought at Thanksgiving time), they have already died on me.
I lift weights and run, and not sure if the sweat is what made them stop working.
I did also have a problem with them staying in my ears toward the end of my runs.
    disappointed to say the least.

    Failed Within 2 Weeks

I was upgrading from $40 cheap blue tooth headphones to these. I assumed they'd last years.

They did not last a month and were returned to the Apple Store today after they started crackling and refusing to pair with my phone for more than a minute or so. I do not know what the problem is as I'm not a super heavy sweater...

Very disappointing for such an expensive item. Exchanged at the Apple Store for Beats - hopefully they perform better.

    Battery 20%

I picked this up yesterday at the apple store. I got home and connected it to my iphone right away. I didn't have any problem connecting and so far sound is great. I didn't have any issue with the fit, walked around and jumped to make sure it won't fall, and it didn't. Last night I charged it until the light turned green.

Today I wanted to try it again, so I turned on the headphones and to my surprise the voice prompt said "Battery 20%." I am going to use it all day today and charge it. I will try again tomorrow, if I still get the same issue I will return it! --- Battery % is really important to me, so this is why i gave it a one star!

Finally -- earbuds that stay in my ears!

I was skeptical since I've not had successful fits with other earbuds, but Jaybird Freedom works fantastically for me. Seeing other reviews that Jaybirds don't stay in ears, and knowing that as humans we are not each identical, I'm not surprised to see mixed reviews about most/all earbuds and good/lousy fit. These Jaybirds have the most combinations to try, and it's the fin that does the trick for me. Very comfortable. Easy to pair with my phone, easy/great to have the MySound app. Sound is good and better with the Comply (foam) ear tips than the silicone ear tips. Clever extra battery life using the battery clip. My only wish is that battery life was longer than four hours for long long training runs, or that the battery charger clip was sweat proof.

A lot of punch in a small package

The Freedom Wireless headphones by Jaybird pack a lot of incredible sound into an incredibly small package. With the MySound App, you have the ability to customise the sound space and signature in a number of ways; by selecting a Preset- from either Jaybird, a Jaybird-endorsed athlete, or from other Jaybird users around the world, or by creating your own unique signature. It's so easy to do that I found myself changing the sound-space regularly depending on the type of music I was listening to.
Take the time to experiment with the tips and fins to find the right fit, and these are insanely comfortable, and with the comply foam tips Freedom anchors itself firmly in your ear.
Battery life incredible, and the battery charging clip lets me charge the Freedom between workouts without taking them out of my gym bag - plugging into power only once every few days.
Super light, sometimes forget they are in my ears, and the build feels very high end - just about all metal and no plastic. Definitely recommend.

Great for running and other training session!

    Super product.

    - sound quality (with Comply foams - great bass),
    - extra small with low weight,
    - personal equalizer,
    - last settings memory function,
    - communication with iPhone 7,
    - voice information about battery status and connected (2) devices,
    - external battery with charger (+4h),

    - hard to find best fit configuration,
    - connection with the app.

    I'd say it's the best I've got !

    Headset sounds wonderful !!
If you can give 8/10 for the headset, then by adding 'My Sound' app to that will take it to 10/10.

Please don't trust all the reviews on the web saying it't gonna fall of your ears while you run or during your work out, its all nonsense !
It perfectly fits your ears, in either way you wear it., and I guess 4hrs + 4hrs (Battery clip) life is enough for a regular person (Unless you go on a trek or mountain climb.).
I highly recommend this for a music lover.

    Failed after 2 returns!

If even considering the freedoms I'd advise you to look beyond the tech reviews and see what is being said about them on the jaybird twitter and Facebook sites - they just don't work! They malfunction after a short number of workouts and the customer support from jaybird is atrocious! I'm still waiting for contact from them. Thankfully I bought them from Apple store - who were brilliant and refunded me as I was still within a month of purchase. Would recommend the updated bose soundsport wireless (post recall) or even the power beats 3 - just be wary of jaybird (bad experience )
