    Don't recommend

I've had every iPhone since the 4 and each has had a screen protector on it (many different brands). We recently had good success on two iPhones with $1.00 glass protectors from Dollar Tree. I'm bad at applying them evenly and without bubbles and it annoys me if they're crooked or have bubbles, so I had them apply this Belkin protector at the Apple Store when I bought my red iPhone 7. (As many others have mentioned, it doesn't go all the way to the edges of the iPhone glass, but this is typical for glass protector I've used.)

I drop my iPhones regularly but this the first time I've EVER had a a screen protector break! After just a short period of time, there was 1 small crack on the top/right. Next, a long crack across top 1/3 of screen, from side to side. This was particularly annoying as it caused a lot of glare. Third & fourth, two cracks on the bottom right. I went to the Apple Store and the employee said they aren't warranted. He also said he has never seen one crack before, which I find VERY hard to believe based on these reviews! The final straw, two MORE breaks across the top that were SO annoying (and covered up the time) that I had to take it off and replace it. Plus, little sharp pieces of glass kept flaking off...

The only good things I can say about this product are that IT cracked and my iPhone screen didn't and that Apple's nifty Belkin applicator puts them on perfectly.

The replacement for this was another $1.00 purchase from Dollar Tree.

    Complete waste

I bought my phone on July 14th after having my previous Iphone for over 2 years without ever cracking my screen. Got this screen protector installed, was told it wont bubble up. It did in 2 days. I also discovered a huge crack in the screen protector and I haven't dropped my phone at all ever. Serious waste of money, annoyed I got up sold on such a bad product.

    DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

My fiancé got an iPhone replacement front the Apple Store in Charleston. We asked for a tempered glass to be placed on his phone and this little piece thin thing was placed on. When we got in the car I noticed it was really thin and mentioned it to him. But thought hey maybe it's something new. The next day his phone fell from his pocket and boom!!!! His screen is broken AGAIN!!! I've had plenty of screen protectors (from verizon) no matter where I've dropped my phone my screen has never broken. Don't waste your money

    Doesn't protect your phone

I dropped my iPhone 7 plus and cracked the screen. After years of owning iPhones, this is the first time I've ever shattered a screen. Took it to the apple store and had the screen replaced and had them install this screen protector. 3 weeks later I dropped my phone again (we won't get into why I can't seem to hang onto my phone lately). To my amazement, the screen protector was undamaged but my screen under the screen protector was shattered. Yes, my phone had a case on it to protect the edges of the phone, but the screen protector doesn't cover the whole phone and it's totally shattered. Complete waste of $40!

do not get scammed into the lifetime warranty

Bought this with my new phone saturday, had a drop on carpet in a case and a slight crack in the screen. Annoying but I could get over it. Just got home after it was on the outside pocket of my purse, where my phone has been for years, shatter in the protector. Not worth the $40. Get more longevity out of the $7 protectors I find on amazon. Here's to hoping this lifetime guarantee is real...

    DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not waste your money buying this case. My phone did not fall, screen was never squeezed or got crushed and the screen protector is cracked in multiple places. Not sure how they got there, just appeared overnight seemingly. I have other cases on previous iPhone's that have lasted much longer.

    Useless and 0 star product.

This screen protector doesn't cover all of the iPhone's screen and leaves significant edges which if u are using apple's own leather case (which I have on my iPhone) would look very odd. Moreover technically it's a big disadvantage as well. With in 24 hours of having it applied from Apple Store it has developed a crack. I had hardly touched my phone on the soft part of the car's window and it ended up with a crack travelling all the way through the width of the screen. It's a shame and disgrace and should not be sold on apple shop which has always been a symbol of quality and reliable products.
    Wouldn't recommend it at all.

    Poor quality and small

I can't remember the brand of tempered glass I got for my iPhone 7 but that one finally shattered big time from bouncing off from my jacket pocket when I ran after my puppy. I thought the screen broke from the way it looks and went to Apple store to fix the screen. However, they found out that the screen is perfect, only the glass protector broke. I replaced this glass with Belkin one available at the store. Unfortunately, it's pretty terrible. First, the size of it is just big enough to cover the screen where the 'real' display is so the viewing of the screen from the size looks funny because of the border of the glass overlap the screen. Second, it broke so easily. I put in my pocket and accidentally put my keys in with in. It broke and got a hairline from left to right side. Then, the other day I put the phone in my back pocket of my jeans, I then discovered another hairline across this glass. The old glass which sadly I can't remember the brand was way thicker and stronger. Don't waste your money with Belkin glass.

    Terrible halo issue

I have had a total of 7 of these installed at the apple store. None sealed completely and had the same halo effect around the outsides. I've left them on anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks with no change. After calling managers and even changing batches in the back of the store, no luck. Could be just my phone because while I was getting ONE of mine installed, two people came and went with absolutely no issues. Now I just have to deal with the looks of it or spend more and install myself.

Never buy this! Cracks in handbag

I bought this and had it applied in the Apple Store - cracked while my phone was in my handbag after 1 week. Thinking it was one off I got another one and had it put on in the Apple Store again.... and now it's cracked again just in my bag. I had an iPhone 5 for years with o to the plastic film protect and never had an issue. Oh and need I say it doesn't fit properly and cuts off the screen on both sides?! Never buy this product because it is ridiculously expensive and won't last at all!!!!

    Amazing

To all the jokers complaining...something heavy dropped on to my phone, the screen protector cracked not my phone, it's supposed to, that is its job.

    Cracked after 1 day

This was a waste of money. In my 5 years of iPhone use, I've never had a problem with screen protectors. Was not dropped. I don't even know how the crack got there.

    Began lifting immediately after install.

When I got my iPhone 7 Plus at AT&T, I purchased a similar glass protector. It began lifting on the sides a few hours after I left the store. I went to the Apple Store and was told this is common because of the curvature of the iPhone. They showed me this product and said that it was cut thinner to ensure a smooth installation. I took the first one back to AT&T for refund and purchased this one. The Apple employee installed the protector with a cool machine but the sides sides begin listing immediately. He pulled it off and applied a new protector and again it lifted on the sides. He told me to give it a few hours to see if it will lay flat. It's been nine hours and no change. I'm going to take it back to the store for refine and try something else.

Do not buy it. Find something else.

Bought new iPhone 7 in Apple Store. Sales person selected Belkin sc+invisiGlass screen protector for iPhone 7 . It was installed in the store by the same sale person. The following day, to my total surprise, I see a little cracks on a screen protector. I never dropped my new phone and it is not even 24 hours since it was installed. I googled Belkin SC+InvisiGlass and came across this site where people have similar to mine experience. One day later I returned it to the Apple Store with a difficulties where I was told that it is me who dropped a new phone???. Do not buy it, does not cover a screen and apparently the tension within a glass is cracking it as soon as it is installed.

It fits like the designers intended. Awesome protection.

I notice that all the negative reviews are about this screen protectors fit. I certainly understand their point of view. Traditional screen protectors fit edge to edge. The problem is that the iPhone 7's screen/front bezel is rounded at the edges. It would not stick to the screen if they made it go edge to edge as a flat piece of gorilla glass would be floating on its edges. So...it fits and provides excellent protection. Now... I do understand people don't like the look of the screen protector edges being visible, but It doesn't bother me. This is hands down the best screen projector I have purchased. And.. I had it installed at the Apple store using their system, so it was perfect.

    Garbage. Poor fit, doesn't help

The Belkin doesn't cover all the glass, so most drops will still crack the screen. Don't waste your money - get something better.

    Belken screen protector

The worse screen ever purchased. Cracked in 1 month. There is no warranty.
