    Tile service is great

    I recently ordered new tiles for my son which somehow got lost in the mail during delivery. The Tile customer service responded quickly and shipped replacement Tiles. Great service for a great product!

    Great for pet safety

    My husband and I just adopted a deaf kitty and thought we’d give these a try for safety’s sake. We needed something that would help us find him on a map if he ever snuck out of the house (which this does), but we also needed something that could alert us to where he is in the house. Being a kitten he likes to explore every nook and cranny of our apartment and take naps in the places he likes the most. Being deaf we can’t make noise to alert him he needs to wake up and come out from his hiding place... that’s where Tile comes in. I can use my phone to turn on tile and have it make noise so we can find his newest hiding place to be sure he’s safe. Since he’s deaf the loud ringing doesn’t bother him (or our neighbors) but it is loud enough for us to locate him when he finds a particularly good space to doze off in. I’d recommend this to pet owners of hearing pets too. The fact that you can track them on a map and ring it to wake them up (or use it to find your phone in a pinch) is something I think all pet owners can benefit from. Plus there’s the added bonus of these coming 4 to a box. While the battery only lasts 1 year, I’ve got 4 years of peace of mind in one purchase.

    I read in one of the other reviews that tile offers a recharging service? While the recharge price seems steep compared to the price of the tiles from Apple, it’s actually a $40 savings compared to buying this same 4-Tile kit from the Tile website. So if Apple decides to stop selling these at least I can still have four working Tiles for years to come just by recharging.

    Cool idea but not worth the money

    Don't get me wrong, I like how tile looks. It's sleek and looks nice on my keychain. Unfortunately, it has not been working for me the way I would have expected. When I first bought it, it started right up and I was happy to show my friends how cool it was. Unfortunately, the battery is no longer working and I have to send it back in to the company! I don't know why they can't just have a little battery insert, it would make my life a lot easier. Now I have to go through the trouble of sending it and waiting for a new one in the mail. I just think that is really silly. For the price, this is a major inconvenience since I have purchased more than one. I don't want to start a tile battery life log and plan the logistics of sending away the tiles every few weeks. I honestly wouldn't recommend this. Cool idea in theory, but not worth it.

    Great product, works very well so far, i've been waiting for a product like this my whole life! Only areas it falls short is the lifespan/ reTile program. $60 to recharge all 4 tiles after 11 months seems steep! It also doesnt work with homekit. Tile app must be running all the time which is annoying for people like me who like to clear their running apps regularly. Yet to test how that affects my device's battery life. Hopefully these things are integrated into homeKit by the time 11 months rolls around

    Great product!

    My daughter bought this for me last Christmas. As a woman living alone, I tend to misplace my phone (and keys) now and then. Without a home phone to call my cell, this is a perfect solution. I'm giving them as gifts this year to several friends who need a little help finding their misplaced items now and then.
