    Hot Garbage

    • Written by Aubrey C from Edmonton

It took 15 minutes to get the printer to connect over bluetooth. Printed one photo, and then tried to print another, but the first photo wouldn't leave the print queue, even though it was 100%. Would not recommend.

    Worst experience!

    • Written by chun Y from Nyc

I bought the product a year ago. In the beginning, it worked well. After 6 months, it stopped working. I tried to fix it but failed. I contacted the company by emails for help. We exchanged 20+ emails. The company just let me wait without actual support. So consider carefully before you decide to buy this product. It will drive you mad.

    A must have

    • Written by Lena G from Seal Beach

I've had this printer for a few months now and I have used it for homemade greeting and holiday cards, for cheering up friends and random strangers I have met with a photo that meant something to them. I have also decorated my own little studio with various cute photos I got to print with Lifeprint. It's the perfectly sized photo for a wallet, scrap book or just because. The size of the printer allows me to carry it in my small purse too. Most of all, I absolutely love that I don't have to buy ink to print with it. A major win in my book. I would recommend it literally to anyone. Print is not dead, everyone LOVES a photo memory.

    Wonderful Product!

    • Written by Steve M from Coto De Caza

I love this product! Its easy to carry around and is there when I need it. My kids love the hyperphoto feature as it lets you "bring your picture to life". Pictures are small enough to fit in my wallet and the App is easy to use. My family in Europe has one and so it is amazing to send pictures directly to the Life print printer there no matter where I am in the world. I love it!

    A gift to remember

    • Written by Agnese V from London

I got this printer as a gift for the holidays and am more than happy with it. Countless memories created with the hyperphoto, what a unique idea! I also appreciate the beautiful design, it fits well with my Apple devices.

I got this as a gift for my wife for Christmas and it's been an absolute hit with the family. Nieces and nephews instantly figured out the Hyperphoto and captured every moment of the holiday season through them. Grandma and grandpa really enjoyed the fact that photo still fits in the wallet to show their grandkids to friends on the go. Wife was very happy that it still fits into a handbag, not an easy feature for the ladies. I would recommend this to anyone as it has so many ways to enjoy it and create memories together.

Received this as a gift (instead of the fujifilm insta max i had wanted) because it would be easier to print from my phone rather than carring a camera around. When I first tried to print something, it didn’t work so I brought it back to the store hoping to get store credit. When we tested it in the store, it worked so I’m assuming that the printer doesn’t work when I’m on wifi. I have the iPhone 6 and the camera isnt the greatest so I printed a picture that was professionally taken to test the quality. The picture quality is awful; the color is off and its somewhat blurry. I can’t return it now that it’s been used unfortunately so that’s $130 down the drain.

    Worst app to use

    • Written by YVETTE B from Vancouver

Created an account with this app, 2 weeks later the app forgot me, I can no longer sign in. When I type in my username and password the screen freezes at that point and does not continue. I tried to reset my password and the app tells me that this email is not registered. I tried to re-register but it says that the email is currently registered. I cannot access the app to print photos. Worst product ever!!! Good for two weeks and then no longer able to use. I am returning this to the Apple store!!!

    My life print experience

    • Written by Caraline K from Richmond

We bought one of these, and it didn't work. Apple took it back and gave us a new one. Customer service is 5/5. The new one worked amazingly. My first image was printed high quality in under a minute. The app is a little confusing and the only problem we had was that it would't print something because it looked to much like another live print??? Not sure about that one. We tried a different photo and it worked well and printed perfectly. Easy to bluetooth, get the app, and connect. Directions are simple but thorough. This is gonna be a fun experience!

Nice idea, but not ready for prime time

    • Written by Keith P from Phoenix

Printer worked fine. Used it to create Hyperphoto gift labels for Christmas presents! My wife's family loved it on Christmas day! The next day, with my family, NONE of the Hyperphotos worked. Everyone like the photos, but grandkids were really disappointed (as was grandpa) that the personalized gift labels would not "come to life".
LifePrint support's answer: too many people using their product and overloaded their server. Try again in a couple hours. We are a startup company and trying to do our best to get things fixed.
I returned the printer to the Apple store where I purchased it the next day for a full refund. Nice idea, but not ready for prime time.

    Hot Garbage

    • Written by Daniel G from Mill Creek

First, this printer not only brings up repeated requests to link to Facebook (in hopes that you will eventually forget one time to unheck the box that automatically shares everything you print on your newsfeed), but also requires your name, date of birth (you see, apparently you need to be 18 to print), your phone number (you see, they need to text you a
“Security code” for some reason), your email (they just say they “really kind of need” this one).

Unfortunately, it only works once. Maybe there is no point in letting you keep printing after they’ve tricked you out of your personal information and ripped you off for $100. I’m not going to detail the connection issue here, as it will show up all over the internet just above responses from life print saying it’s “rare” or “strange”. Save your money until a reputable company releases a product like this.

Good idea but simply doesn’t work consistently

    • Written by Philip R from Fakenham

The idea is great. There are so many uses for this product. However, it just doesn’t work with any degree of consistency.
Printing is easy but the quality of print is poor.
Once you have your photos printed you would expect the video to play quickly and every time you try.
Unfortunately, I have spent so long looking like an idiot trying to demonstrate it to family and friends.
Most of the time the pictures are not recognised and nothing happens.
Sometimes you will get a message saying they are busy and try again later! What use is that.
I imagine after Xmas there will be many more users so the system will not cope with demand.
You have probably worked out by now that the video is stored over their cloud system.
I have contacted Lifeprint and they told me they are aware of the problems and trying to sort them out.
I plan to return the printer tomorrow. Every other Apple sanctioned product I have bought works perfectly.
I’m surprised Apple continue to sell it.
It’s a great shame because I was very excited about the possibilities of this product.

I wish there are one star

    • Written by Leonard L from Monterey Park

Was totally excited about this product to be honest, but after I got it and tried it, it simply doesn't work.

First of all, my account could not sign in on the website.
Second, I can not print a photo(with video in it) as I wanted! here is what I did: select the video from my photo, then go to the choose cover screen, and which ever screen i choose, it would give me a error message: error: Image selected does not have enough distinct features to be suitable for Hyperphoto use - please choose another with more features -especially towards the center of image.

I mean, WTF is this? I searched all the community and forum, no one seeing the same problem. Is it only me or there is something wrong going on?

Pretty Amazing with room for improvements

    • Written by Ge T from Chadstone

Got this product to prepare wedding gifts for friend two days ago.
Easy to use, good quality result, most likely will be used over the years.

    Things to be improve?
Always having trouble setting a cover photo for the Hyperphoto. Can be pretty annoying sometimes, when some simple pictures don’t work.
Printer colour is not very accurate, has a slight blue and purple ish tint. Not comparing to pro level printer result but I was expecting better.

Overall , liked the product, sure the couple receiving the gifts will be amazed too.

Absolutely love this. I am obsessed with taking photos but I could never print them out due to not really have a place to put them, with the lifeprint I get the perfect sized polaroid and I hang a BUNCH of them up on a lights display in my room. Looks amazing and makes me so happy. Would definitely recommend!!!

This printer is absolutely AMAZING. I’ve used lots of smaller printers for printing pictures over the years and none compare to this one. The fact that the back can transform them in to stickers is even better. You can put them in scrap books, pin them to cork board, stick them to your wall as decoration, or my personal favorite I stick mine onto my hydroflasks!
Absolutely love this printer and highly recommend it!

    future from the past

    • Written by Emmanuelle P from Paris

It's such a pleasure to be able to print memories. I like the fact that they are fun sticker. The app is very intuitive and easy of use.
I use the pictures to decorate and make photo album for friends and family over the world.

The Quality of the print is very close to original.

The paper is more affordable than Polaroid which i use less since i bought the life print printer.

    Vive la photo

Loving the product and the photo printing.

    • Written by Joe T from Richardson

I use this photo printer and the film all the time whenever I wanna put these photos either on my journal for illustration or printing photos right away to give it to friends of mine that wants the physical photos right away. Love when they offer the app and not need to buy ink for this printer unlike various other printers. I LOVE IT! HANDS DOWN! Thank you! I recommend this to those who want to print photos that have that polaroid quality. Already recommended to my friends.
