Pictures come to life: Great tool for B2C !!

Easy setup and fun to use. I ordered while traveling for work and just started using today. My teenage sons(13 and 14) kept saying things like "So cool" and quite a few OMG's! I bought it to use for work but the fun factor is too much to not share with family and friends. We just made a quick birthday card for Mom and cant wait to see her reaction. For work, I am going to use it as a promo piece showing what we do for machining services. For realtors or anyone selling to consumers, this will be a great promo piece. Not sure how they were inspired to make such a great product but for all the Harry Potter fans....your pictures can come to life. Again, GREAT JOB Lifeprint!

Printer is OK but APP is AWFUL!!!

The printer is kinda cheap feeling plastic. The prints are fine but nothing to write home about.
WHAT REALLY DESTROYS THIS PRODUCT IS THE APP. IT IS RIDDEN WITH BUGS and FAILS TO RECOGNIZE THE PRINTED HYPERPHOTO and PLAY THE VIDEO.
IMAGINE YOU MAKE THE BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY CHRISTMAS CARD AND STICK A HYPERPHOTO AND GRANDMA OR REGULAR JOE FRIENDS OR TECH SAVVY UNCLE CANNOT MAKE THE HYPERPHOTO COME TO LIFE AND DELIVER YOUR HOLIDAY MESSAGE IN VIDEO.

JUST NOTHING BUT FRUSTRATION TRYING TO GET THE HYPERPHOTO VIDEO TO PLAY CAUSE THE STUPID APP CAN'T DO IT'S JOB.

Returning the printer and films for a FULL REFUND....

AR feature not working and website shows 503 errors

Bought this for Christmas for my kids. Testing it out in advance, the printer is fine but the instructions are oblique to say the least – the AR video onboarding implied by holding the quick setup guide in front of the app doesn't work.

No I have printing working and that's cool but the AR photos just don't work and their website is constantly down with 503 and related errors. Seems like they don't know how to scale a web site. Very bad.

    AMAZING APP & PRINTER

I absolutely love LifePrint! I can finally print out the photos on my phone easily and the pocket size printer lets me do so anywhere. The looks on my friends' faces when they see the hyper photo come to life is priceless! I only observed one minor bug, but it was fixed within a day without having to contact support. This shows that LifePrint is actively managing their product and I couldn't be happier. Insta-what?... LifePrint is here to stay!

    Loving my Lifeprint!

I am having so much fun with my new Lifeprint!! I recently celebrated my birthday and was able to capture a photo of all of the attendees. I'm using my Lifeprint to print a photo to include with my thank you cards that I'm sending to all of my guests. I think they'll really appreciate this added touch of personalization and the photos fit perfectly in the thank you notes! It has also been a lot of fun to watch my photos come to life with the hyperview option through the app. It's a great way to relive the memory with live action video. The printer doesn't require any ink, which makes it simple and convenient to use. I highly recommend Lifeprint and will also be purchasing a few more as gifts for the holidays.

    More than expected

This printer and app are amazing. It’s so futuristic and simple to set up and use.

The pictures really do come to life, like in Harry Potter. I brought it to Thanksgiving dinner and everyone was amazed. They couldn’t stop thinking about how they want to use it.

For me, I’m going to use to make our family holiday cards. And, professionally, for creative marketing.

Great concept but needs some polish

This printer is great at what is sets out to do: allow you to wirelessly print photos from your iPhone to any LifePrint printer anywhere in the world. You can print instant photos to Zink peel-able film using other printers - such as a newer Polaroid camera - but this printer stands out for its ability print directly from your iPhone.

That said, there are some caveats: 1. There are no instructions for set up or use in the box. Nada. You have to load the app and then find user guide video to understand how to set the printer up. This was a bit frustrating and an odd assumption on the part of LifePrint Products. Can't they include a small helpful tri-fold (not the useless one in the box) with setup instructions? 2. Although the printer is beautifully designed - very "apple-ish" - the cover on the printer is a bit flimsy, and will pop off easily with almost any handling. There needs to be a better snap lock to hold it in place. 3. The "hyperprint" option is fun (think the moving newspaper pics in the Harry Potter films), but a bit gimmicky and now even a bit quaint in this age of live-view pics and cloud sharing of photos with everyone. However, this is fun to use and show at a party or get-together.

These points are minor negatives. The printer is still light, easy to carry, and works well. The picture quality is generally good - not great - but the film quality is more a limitation of the Zink film technology rather than the printer. The peel-able backs make sticking the pics in albums, books, the fridge or your lap top easy.

All in all, I recommend this printer as a convenient and fun way to (almost) instantly print pictures from your iPhone, either locally or to any LifePrint printer anywhere in the world.

    My favorite gadget of '16

Sometimes we get so caught up with downloading photos, we forget the power of holding one. A friend on the other side of the country can send me an Instagram or FB picture directly to this device and it’ll print out as a regular photo and/or a sticker. And there’s no toner or ink to change. Another cool feature is the augmented reality which turns a still back into a video – I know, sounds impossible but it does. Get one!

    "Sea"sational Real Estate Tool

I am a realtor selling houses on the beach in Northern California. I bought this printer so I could hand out photos (with the ocean view of homes that I sell) that would come to life with the App. Today was our agent's tour and I handed out 20 or so pictures of this one beach home and showed people how to bring the photos to life [launch the 'hyper-photo']. My associates were impressed! I hope Apple will pay me a commission for all the printers I think I sold today. Awesome product. Super simple.

    Awesome product!

My coworker brought one to work to show around and I got to play with it. Loved it and just ordered mine! Pictures will never be the same.

I love this App and printer

I wish I could share the hyperphotos with you because once you see them [augmented reality], you are going to wonder why every picture doesn't have this feature. The set up is super easy [load the app and hold the iphone to the front page photo on the set up guide - you launch a 90 second video that gets you going]. Brilliant user experience, [did they channel Johny Ive?].

The quality is top notch. The App is designed for people to share [easier than SnapChat or Instagram].

My only suggestion is the paper/photo is smaller than I'd like. When will they make a 4x6? I'll be buying my second printer when they do.
