Can an item be overpriced as well as cheap and nasty? This may be the first

I really had high hopes for this but sadly it is an overpriced piece of junk. For £80 I expected a bit of quality but the buttons and the digital pad are clunky, and just feel cheap and nasty. Also some kind of carry case would be welcome, the item doesn’t fold away like the smaller ones so storing or transporting this item is a complete pain and it is likely to get damaged unless you repack it in the original box once done.

My advice, just don’t! Buy a Steelseries Nimbus Controller instead, so much better, you really don’t need to hold the iPad Pro anyway and is better all round and at least you can use it with multiple devices.

Also, this Gamevice will be useless when/if the iPad Pro dimensions change, but I doubt it will last that long anyway.

    Can't play without it now

This is literally the best gaming experience I've had on my iPad. Super easy to use, lightweight, comfortable, and pretty much just turns it into a console controller. Currently hooked on Space War. Would def recommend it.

One of the best controllers available!!!

When I bought this Gamevice controller I was worried the controller might not be worth the price, but after having played some of my favorite games like Real Racing 3, War Robots and GTA: San Sandreas, and it was awesome!!! Touch screen controls can be so frustrating when you're playing a great game without a reliable way to play it, so it was far more enjoyable to play these games with the controller. Then I found out they provide a great App called Gamevice Live which lists a ton of games that will work with the controller and even shows the button mapping for each game and if it requires an internet connection to play it, which is delightfully convenient since not even the Apple Store provides that information. I've learned about other games I didn't even know were available and new releases are added to the list all the time like Kingdom: New Lands and Death Road to Canada. The controller is decently portable, though I've seen that the iPhone model has a collapsing support band which makes it more portable then this model and it would be nice if there was a similar feature to this model but that is a small improvement for an already impressive controller!

    Horrible quality for the price

First problem, it doesn't work with official Apple cases, or any case for that matter. Fine, could've been overlooked. Second problem is this plastic is cheap for a $100 unit, and the thing weighs nothing making it feel even more cheap. Third, very serious problem, is that the thing flexes if you apply any, and I mean any, pressure perpendicular to the application points. So if you're a little to excited while gaming you have a chance to snap off that thunderbolt connector it requires, rendering the controller useless. I'm a game dev that bought this for very light use while testing my games, I will be returning it.
