Fantastic I finally found a case that works

    • Written by Matthew S from San Francisco

I’ve tried several cases and they all just did not have the all around usefulness as this case does. It a functional, durable, protects ( I typically don’t feel great about spending a 1k and not protecting my iPad.) I will say that this is a winner. I took it with me while I crossed the Nullarbor E Australia and it worked impeccably. Had it on the dash a few times on our camper van letting the time lapse video run for kilometre after kilometre with fantastic results.

    Try it.

    Best protection for your iPad

    • Written by Paul C from Derby

I purchased one of these some time ago and have truly run it through the mill. Firstly it adds superior protection to the front, rear, sides and especially the corners of the iPad. There is also inconspicuous housing for the Apple pencil inside the case. It's also a smart case, turning the iPad on when opened and off when closed. The front cover folds back to provide a stand. Secondly the case is extremely well made and doesn't add much bulk to the iPad. Out of all the cases I've owned over the years to protect many different iPad's, this is the king of them all. The only criticism is, once fitted it is a little difficult to remove but, having said that, its such a great case why would you want to remove it? I plan to purchase another when Apple hopefully release the 3rd generation iPad Pro 12.9. I hope this review helps.

    Exactly fixes all the problems!

    • Written by Jacqueline M from Toronto

The main problem with many cases is that the iPad shifts in the case and then the touch screen doesn’t work because the cover is in the way. The second problem is that there is no secure, safe place for the pencil within the case. This cover solves both of these problems. The rubber is tight around the iPad, locking it into place so it doesn’t shift with plenty of space around the screen. The pencil tray is snug so it doesn’t fall out if turned upside down but has a cut out so it’s easy to grab.

The cover is not heavy so doesn’t add too much extra weight.

The button covers for the shut off and volume are placed well and respond well. The four speaker cutouts don’t block the volume at all.

The cover closes flat and there is a flap that locks with a magnet making it a smart closure.

I had read that the cover stand doesn’t work well but I don’t agree. The stand isn’t a flip version but rests inside notches on the back of the cover. The stand is stable even on the soft surface of my bed.

    Arrived in just 2 days.

    Great buy. Thanks Apple!

Feedback on case after purchasing and use.

    • Written by Mairead N from Cork

Once this case is put on the iPad it's very difficult to remove
The stand feature is not something I would trust when using this case.
    It feels poorly designed.

For these reasons I decided to return the case for refund

    Protection is great, But....

    • Written by Mary Ann G from Seaford

I know my iPad Pro 12.9 is well protected, but it does not stand up at all. I fly frequently only to have it collapse every few minutes. I give up! I will keep this for everyday use. I do throw it into tote bags, the car, in drawers. It is durable as mentioned previously. I will need second version that allows me to stand up while streaming.

    Tough as nails and stylish

    • Written by Marcy W from Longmont

I would rate this over Apple's cover in both style and durability. I can vouch for the product description; it is what it says it is. If I had a complaint about it, it's that the first audio cable I hooked up to the headphone jack had a jack head too big for the case hole. Just had to get a smaller head and it fits snug and secure. So it's a trade-off more than a pure complaint.
