Mophie charger is a great product

    • Written by Loretta S from Hammond

I bought the mophie charger several yrs ago with the purchase of iPhone X. As of this date 1 1/2 yr later.... have not had any problems with the charger. The phone does have to be centered on charger, there is always a beep when the phone is in the correct position. I give this 5 stars......

I have new iphone XR w/ apple extended battery case. Takes me several attempts to get charger to link to my phone then at some point in the night it loses the link and stops charging. I wake up maybe 25% of the time with a charged phone. 75% of the time I’m married to a wired for the next several hours trying to play catch up charging while getting ready and going to work. This product straight up doesn’t work and should not be for sale.

    Don't Buy a Mophie

    • Written by Wendy H from Tifton

The slick salesman at the Verizon store sold me this piece of junk. Do not buy a mophie for an iphone xr. This device deserves no stars.

Great little charger at a reasonable price. Mophie products are built to last and when it comes to charging products are the best at it. Highly recommend.

Its nothing worthwhile in any sense.

    • Written by Panashe M from Brisbane

    - It charges yes, but slower than direct cable connection.
    - Phone charges only when placed exactly in centre.
    - The charger plug has a weird and very annoying shape which stops you from being able to easily plug it into sockets with other plugs around. Its like a square shape but with the cable coming out of one of the corners, not sides. Terrible design.
    - I would not advise on buying any wireless charging pads of any sort, the technology does not give you any convenience over cable.
    - Your phone still has to be left on the pad to charge. And there is still cable involved, to the charging pad. Which means you will need a lightning cable for other non wireless charging capable devices.
    - With a cable you can move and use your phone in your hand. With a charging pad, no.

All in all, disappointing design, given the lack of any worthwhile convenience (reduces it as a matter of fact). Wireless charging is cool, nothing else.

    Piece of junk

    • Written by Cheryl R from Norcross

I got this for Christmas 2018. A few times, it didn’t charge my phone fully but I let it pass. Now it doesn’t charge at all. I’ve tried it in different outlets, USB adapters, NOTHING. The little blue light still blinks so I know it has power to it. What a ripoff. This company should be really proud of its quality control.

Ha Ha This Is A Joke Right?

    • Written by Michael H from Bensalem

So I bought this from Amazon with many great reviews, having not checked here first. OK so...first night....new iPhone XR on ATT..... Charged like a trickle charge....slow and steady...but did charge when placed perfectly center on the pad.

Second day I added a new Otterbox Defender and the trickle charge turned to basically a maintenance charge....didn't go down but didn't go up either...held at 88% until I went to bed and plugged in....

Day Three I added a metal plate to attach to a magnetic mounting piece in my truck and no matter how I placed the phone on the pad it wouldn't connect and charge.

If you are into gimmicks and overpaying for a product that will do half the job of a cord at double the time then this one is right up your alley. If not then steer clear and wait for better technology. Back to a realllllly long cord as I box this back up for a return. Thanks for reading!

    disappointing :(

    • Written by James B from East Twickenham

After taking much longer than I wanted to researching these Qi chargers I opted for this one when I went to the Covent Garden store. The staff member told this was every bit as good as the Belkin (at £15 more). Used it for the first time last night with my iPhone 8 with Apple leather case and woke to find it at only 17% charge - this is after it vibrated and the little lightning icon appeared top-right (suggesting it was charging).

I replaced it, it vibrated with the icon again, and after about 45mins it was only up a few % - very slow indeed. Too slow. And unreliable.

Looks as if I'll be returning this to Apple.

Hit or miss with the AirPods 2 wireless charging case

    • Written by William B from Colorado Springs

Although the description states compatible with the new AirPods wireless charging case, mine won't charge using this charger. The charging indicator light on the base lights up for a few seconds, then turns off -- no charging. The AirPods charge just fine on my Nomad charging station. The Mphie base charges my Xs Max just fine.

Don't waste your money. In Sept. 2018 I purchased a Morphie charger for my I-phone 8 Plus. It quit working about the first of March 2019 so has a life of less than 6 months. It's also much slower in charging your phone that an I-Phone USB jack.

    The best for iPhone.

    • Written by Brett R from Henderson

I’ve tried probably every wireless charger out there for my iPhone XR. This is the best built and most reliable. In my opinion. My second is the Belkin Boost UP SE. Belkins build was questionable.

    Poor Product

    • Written by Reed M from Minneapolis

So, I am returning this. Over less than a month it has become harder and harder to position the phone so it charges and then all the sudden in stopped charging at all. can't get the green battery to show up for a second. My wife bought one too and it is showing the same symptoms. I see a number of other reviewers with the same comments.

Lighting cords are becoming increasingly poorly made and I go through them like they were bic pens that for some reason cost $25. A wireless charger seems like a great solution but this one seems to be made just as poorly, if not worse than the lightning cords.

May work great for some folks but the failure rate seems terrible.

Does not work with other wall ports.

    • Written by Emily M from Idalia

Hi, I’ve been using this for the last few months with no complaints other than sometimes it doesn’t recognize my phone when I place it down.
However, I needed a second USB port to charge my watch and so I replaced the wall port with a Comsole multiple USB pack. The power specs should be well and truely enough for the base but when it’s plugged in it doesn’t charge my phone and the light blinks continuously. I’ve read someone else having this problem also. So be warned, you may not be able to use this if you change the wall adapter.

    Good product

    • Written by Nobel N from Hamilton

I bought this charging base instead of Belkin because it is cheaper but the quality of material used was excellent. My phone case is a thin one and works well. The only flaws are the charging light is hard to notice, the phone needs to be centred for charging to work and the power adaptor is big.
