It seems better than Belkin and I think this is faster. It has beautiful colour but why its adapter is big.

    Does the job

    • Written by Adam W from doylestown

While slightly overpriced, it does the job for my 8 plus. I have tried it with a few cases (tech21, rhino shield, apple, and speck). It worked with all of them. I am looking forward to the software update mentioned on the main page for fast wireless charging.

Pricey, but excellent build quality and compact.

    • Written by Jan V from Deltona

I ordered the Belkin and hadn't had any hands on with the Mophie.

When I had stopped by the Apple store to pick up an item for my iPad Pro, I checked out the Mophine Qi charger. It's smaller, denser and feels much more premium than the little plasticky saucer from Belkin. The entire Mophie is lined in a rubberized material opposed to the Belkin being plastic with an adhesive rubber ring stuck to it to help hold the phone in place on the pad.

While I had no issues with the Belkin, I didn't hesitate to return it for the Mophi, which feels more substantial and a much better build quality. I'd recommend the Mophie over the Belkin, but if it's not an option or you prefer the color white, the Belkin will get the job done effectively.

Buy the Mophie wireless charger now!

    • Written by Daniel Z from VINE GROVE

I bought 2 of the Mophie and 2 Belkin Boost wireless chargers for the updated iPhones. I decided on the 8 for now. One of my concerns was, will the iPhone charge with a case. Negative for the Belkin and positive for the Morphie. Returned the Belkin because they didn’t meet my expectations. The charger works flawlessly as well as looks great and doesn’t stick out due to design and color. I’m gonna buy a few more to put around the house. Buy it now.

    Works well - no issues

    • Written by Matthew T from Brunswick

I chose the Mophie over the Belkin because it was smaller, black, and came from a company that I consider to have been in the 'charging' business with a high reputation for a long time.

Circle is smaller diameter than my phone and therefore I need to ensure that my iPhone 8 is centered. This is not an issue as the iPhone lights right up with a charging 'ding' sound.

When phone is connected, the mophie has a dim white connection light directly in front.

I have had no issues with this product and would recommend.

    Charging for 8 Plus

    • Written by Rogelio R from Morgan City

I realized I have to put the phone centered on the base, if I only place half of the phone on the base it will not start charging. This could be better, other than that it charges well and I like the design.

Nice design and size but stops charging

    • Written by Yevgen Y from Odessa

During my first 5-6 charges using Mophie pad, my iPhone 8 Plus stopped charging shortly after it was placed on the pad. It happens 3 times and I don’t know whether it has something to do with charger or phone itself.

    Works as you'd expect

    • Written by Joseph M from Woodland Hills

Another product I've bought recently that doesn't really need explaining. Plug it in, drop your iPhone on it, and it charges. As some reviews have noted, though, you do want to get the iPhone as centered as possible. I've noticed sometimes the white power light will blink and the iPhone will "ding" a few times, I think it's the connection being weak so very little power is reaching the iPhone. Centering it never causes this issue.

    Awesome product

    • Written by Jill G from Upton

I just bought this for my iPhone 8 and it works perfectly.
I liked it better than the Belkin because it was more stable.
It even works with my case on it. Fast and easy

Chose because of the color. Very reliable, holds my iPhone 8 in place nicely, and seems to be very well.

    Not my favorite

    • Written by Rugen A from Bellevue

I was hoping to love the ease of using this base, but I do not. It is overpriced for a product that works moderately well. There are times it charges perfectly and fairly quick and other times it starts to charge and then just stops. I will hear it stop and start charging several times and then stop completely. This is when the phone is centered on the pad, without a case on it, and with nothing around it to interfere.

Perfect in every way, don’t hesitate

    • Written by Mark M from Calabasas

Rubberized on both sides so doesn’t shift around the table. Black color makes it settle inn looks. Wide field of placement for the iPhone 8+ to activate charging. Have had it for three days now and cannot imagine living without it. Sits next to my bed where as I can place the phone on top of it and grab the phone again and we place it back onto the charger without so much as a second thought. Couldn’t be happier, my wife also got one for her office sitting next to her computer.

Not the time saver I had hoped

    • Written by David H from Odenton

I bought this thinking I could toss my phone on the pad and not have to fumble for the charging cord and find the port in the dark. Turns out this is just as obnoxious. My iPhone 8 plus has to be positioned perfectly on the pad (slightly lower than center), and the only notification I have that this is done properly is my phone’s audio - there’s no light. I just now spent 5 minutes trying to perfectly place my phone to charge, and instead finally realized the pad isn’t functioning right now. Is it broken? I have no idea because there are no lights or anything.

    highly recommended

    • Written by Matthew W from West Bromwich

the mophie wireless charging pad is what it says on the tin, its small and very portable and doesn't take up much space on a shelf or table, It has no problem charging my iPhone 10 with apples leather folio case on.

It charges a lot faster then i expected and with a later upgrade from apple later this year we will see faster charging speeds. I chose this because its a much smaller foot print then the other wireless charger which apple offers, Also when its on a shelf or table you don't notice it as much with the colour being black which is better the the other one which is bright white. I would recommend this charging pad very highly.

    complete garbage

    • Written by Ryan G from Clay

I bought 3 of these anticipating while at work and at home I would be able to set my phone down and regain some decent battery life. Well the max is charges is 7.5 watts. Best case scenario (putting into airplane mode) allows you to charge 21% in 30 minutes(based on online reviews). This might only be good for when you are sleeping or don't need your phone for a while. My phone is part of my job and I can't put it into airplane mode while at work. It charged 13% and 8% on two different charges in 30 minutes. This is absolutely horrendous and not practical in anyones life. Don't waste your money.

Don't worry about the price, this charger works very well

    • Written by Curt T from South Beloit

A couple of days before launch day, i purchased a charger by Insignia just to make sure I had a wireless charger when I picked up my iPhone X. I wanted to try the Mophie, and I was lucky to pick one up when I picked up my iPhone X from the local Apple Store.

After picking up my phone, I went back to work and used the Insignia charger. I did pause the the downloading of apps other than the ones I needed for driving home that night. The phone was about 45% charged when I got to work, and it was about 65% when I left for home about 3 hours later.

I hooked up the Mophie when I got home and put my iPhone on it. I unpaused the downloads because I was now on my home WiFi. I checked it out about an hour later, and it was almost fully charged. So this charger charged my iPhone X a lot faster than the insignia did.

The profile of this charger is also smaller. It feels a lot sturdier, the base is the same size as the top (the insignia is smaller at the base so it feels like it will tip over easily), and it feels like it has a rubber coating on all sides, so it will not slip or slide around.

The AC adapter is pretty big, but it needs to provide some ooommmphh to charge wirelessly.

I knocked it down one start for the proprietary connector. In this day and age, I feel it should have had a USB C type connector at the base.

It is definitely worth the money. Great build quality, great charging speed even through the otterbox case I have on my iPhone.

    Bad wall plug design

    • Written by John D from Nhulunbuy

The charger itself is excellent, however the wall plug design while looking good, does not let you plug anything in the socket beside it due to its 45 degree turn. (Diamond shape rather than square) You will need one of those power boards that have the extra wide sockets specially suited to those big bulky transformers that come with some products.

I really like this charger. It works just fine and looks great, but it takes forever to charge the phone. I am definately returning this product. I thoufht this was a rapid charger? More than an hour charge time give me about 30%.
