    Disappointing....

    • Written by Julie W from Charles City

I purchased this as a gift and was so excited I purchased one for myself for my X. I've had it since a little past Thanksgiving and I've been able to charge my phone with it twice. It randomly works and then doesn't. Very sensitive and taking the case off helps but doesn't always resolve the problem. Seriously considering returning the gift so I won't be embarrassed. Brilliant concept, disappointing execution. If I could return mine I would. Hate spending $60 for use twice.

    Go With the Lightning Cable

    • Written by David B from Brooklyn

Way too slow on the full charge. As of this writing, my iPhone X has been charging for over an hour and it's not past 50%. Plus, the positioning of the phone on the pad has to be EXACT! One iota off and no charge at all. I bought three of them: two are as described, the third doesn't even work out of the box. How was this product even approved? It's a shame, really. I guess I'll have to see what Apple's proprietary wireless charger amount to, in 2018.

Do Not Buy IF U Have Case on Your Phone

    • Written by Neil S from Chula Vista

Does not work if you use a case backing on your phone. Does work with a naked phone.

It's nice but.... I rather waited for Apple's instead

    • Written by Marcelo Z from Lawrenceville

You have to be very precise when you place your iPhone 8 over the charger.

In the 80% of the times you will have to move it and place it in the middle so it can start to charge.

I thought that just placing over it would work.... It's not the case with this charger. I don't like it very much.

Maybe a bigger one will work.

    It works...but

    • Written by William Jeffrey L from Slidell

Careful. This charges your iPhoneX only when it is out of it's case.
It does not charge current AirPods. Does not seem to charge my Apple Watch - maybe because the band gets in the way. Basically, it is a peak at the future, but needs some tweaking. If you don't use a case on your iPhone, it is very convenient. I did buy both the Belkin and the Mophie charger - one for home and one for work. They both are well built, each has it's advantages. The Belkin has LED lights to show it is working, the Mophie does not. The Mophie has a nice soft touch surface, the Belkin is hard plastic. I returned both. If they charged thru the case, I would have kept them.

    Slow and unreliable

    • Written by Julie S from chicago

This charges my phone very slowly. It also frequently and intermittently stops charging. I use this if I am going to be in one location for many hours and I can let it sit on the charger. However, if I need to be certain that I have a full charge, I use the lightning cable.

    Poor plug design

    • Written by Brendan S from Guildford

Really poor Australian charger plug design, the pins are set so the charger square part sits at 45 degrees, the widest point across. This alignment blocks and does not allow you to put any other plug into either side of it!!! So you could say it takes up 3 spots on a power board (or two if you use the end space on board). Just stupid. If it was just normal and square it would allow other plugs next to it. Seriously the designer didn’t actually test out a prototype before manufacture. Disappointing

Worked for 4 days then kaput

    • Written by eric J from braselton

Do not buy. Worked fine for 4 days then nothing. I’ll be returning to the Apple Store and wait for a product that is quality. I’m surprised Apple actually sells something of such poor quality.

If I could rate less than 1 star I would.

    Not Even 1 Charge

    • Written by Brandon H from Ypsilanti

Purchased this from the Apple store for use with my IPhone X. Upon opening the box and setting it up I placed my phone on it and waited for the signal on the battery. It popped up and I walked away thinking my phone was charging, only to return 30 minutes later to find it had only charged 1% and then had stopped. I attempted to try 5-6 other outlets, even making sure I was plugging straight into the wall and not a power strip. After the last try I have given up, will return for refund tomorrow. I will be waiting till Apple releases their version of a Wireless charging base before I invest in a 3rd party unit again. DO NOT PURCHASE

    complete garbage

    • Written by Ryan G from Clay

I bought 3 of these anticipating while at work and at home I would be able to set my phone down and regain some decent battery life. Well the max is charges is 7.5 watts. Best case scenario (putting into airplane mode) allows you to charge 21% in 30 minutes(based on online reviews). This might only be good for when you are sleeping or don't need your phone for a while. My phone is part of my job and I can't put it into airplane mode while at work. It charged 13% and 8% on two different charges in 30 minutes. This is absolutely horrendous and not practical in anyones life. Don't waste your money.
