    Very Basic, No Frills

    • Written by Roland M from Winchester

Got this as an early Christmas present and yeah, it gets the job done.. but it has no other selling points that differentiate it from the rest. It does work with the Apple leather case on so don't listen to other reviews that say you have to remove the case first. I think it really depends on the case material and how thick it is. One thing that I wish this charging pad had was a lightning charging port instead of the standard AC plug. I always have a lightning cable with me but now when I travel I need to bring this things AC adapter too.

All in all, if you're willing to spend $60 for a stationary charging pad that you probably won't travel with then yeah this gets the job done.

    • Written by Michel S from Laval

Works so great, that I bought 2 for my iphone X, one on my night table and the other on my office desk... And it works with the leather case cover from Apple, contrary to some other say it doesn't work.... it works great with the leather cover case, and fast charging also.... No need for usb plug and cable..... Very happy, strongly recommend

Does what it’s intended to do!

    • Written by Tahley C from Frankston

It has to be the best wireless charger on the market for the price. $99.00 AU Dollars at most leading retailers. Don’t get fooled and pay more than that online.

It features a high quality wall plug and cable that goes into the charging pad
Along with a black matte silicon finish pad that your phone sits on top of nicely.
It charges the 8Plus extremely fast, and once fully charged there is a light on the side of the pad that lights up to let you know this.

You would not even know the light was there even by looking for it unless your phone is charged.

Overall it is better than the Bellkn wireless charger, which is cheaply designed and a made of plastic which doesn’t feel as nice to put your phone onto.

Last but not least, you can charge your 8plus with a case on your phone with the Mophie.

Hope this helps you make a informed decision on your wireless purchase .

    Great Wireless Charger

    • Written by Philbert H from Enfield

This was a replacement for my returned Belkin wireless charger. I am very happy with this choice now. Does exactly what you would expect a wireless charger to do. Small footprint and very solid construction. Most importantly though, when you lay your iPhone X on it there is no problem with placement and it stays exactly where you put it, no sliding around or sliding off (problem I had with the Belkin). Stays in place and charges well without any case and with the Apple leather case.

Fantastic works as advertised + WITH Apple case!

    • Written by Matthew P from Ottawa

I just wanted to clarify as I dont normally rite many reviews, however I did come here to read reviews before purchasing and a lot contradicted one another.

The base charges perfectly fine with my Apple leather case on my iPhone X without issue everytime I set it on the base.

Obviously works just as well with the case off, however I can confirm that with the Apple leather or silicone cases you wont have an issue charging on THIS base.

Buy it if you are considering, you wont be disappointed!

    Extremely convenient charging alternative.

    • Written by Kirby N from DELRAY BEACH

I love this base. I bought it because I have an Otterbox Defender on my iPhone X (Can't take any chances...lol) and I hate having to open the dust port over and over to charge, it eventually starts to deteriorate and look a mess. This is perfect because I can just put it down and it charges with no fuss. Seems to be as fast as an outlet so far. Highly recommend. Very happy that it works with my defender, one of the larger bulkier cases on the market.

Morphie or Belkin, both work as predicted, dispite avg. below avg. reviews

    • Written by Gary D from Jacksonville

Purchased this charging base in addition to the Belkin model sight unseen to make sure I had at least one on hand when I would finally receive my new IPhone X, which arrived 14 November, after pre-ordering 27 October. So comparing the Belkin versus the Morphie, not much difference as far as what they are designed to do, at present they both charge at the same rate, half battery, around 2 hours, each has an LED indicator letting you know when the phone has captured the charging coil on the base, the LED on the Belkin is more visible as Belkin installed the indicator on the top of the unit and Morphie installed their indicator on the bottom lip of the charging pad, and you really only notice it coming on in a reflection of a mirrored or glass type table or stand. The physical size of the base is bigger on the Belkin, but the area of the charging coil is exactly the same, meaning the phone needs to be placed at or about the center of the whichever charging pad you are using even though the surface area on the Belkin is larger. Both charging bases have detachable and proprietary plugs, the Belkin adapter is long but narrow, the Morphie adapter is more square, neither are overly huge, last item, I use an Otterbox Defender series plastic/rubber case to protect my iPhone X, in addition to a front and back tempered glass protection shield, I have not encountered any problems with charging my phone on either charging base, the general rules, no metal case on the rear of the phone and max thickness is 3 MM, I recommend good quality tempered glass protection on both front and back of phone.

    Wall plug too big

    • Written by Marcus S from COWRA

Wireless chargers are so convenient provided you are not in a hurry. The only downside with this one is the size of the wall plug - like many adaptors it is too large to plug into a dual wall outlet if there is another device with a normal sized plug in the adjacent outlet. This is worsened by the crazy decision to design a square adaptor mounted on the diagonal, making it even wider than it's square dimensions suggest! So you can have the bedside lamp or bedside charging, but not both. A re-designed adaptor which allowed neighbouring plugs to share a dual wall outlet would earn a 5 star review.

It's nice but.... I rather waited for Apple's instead

    • Written by Marcelo Z from Lawrenceville

You have to be very precise when you place your iPhone 8 over the charger.

In the 80% of the times you will have to move it and place it in the middle so it can start to charge.

I thought that just placing over it would work.... It's not the case with this charger. I don't like it very much.

Maybe a bigger one will work.

    It works...but

    • Written by William Jeffrey L from Slidell

Careful. This charges your iPhoneX only when it is out of it's case.
It does not charge current AirPods. Does not seem to charge my Apple Watch - maybe because the band gets in the way. Basically, it is a peak at the future, but needs some tweaking. If you don't use a case on your iPhone, it is very convenient. I did buy both the Belkin and the Mophie charger - one for home and one for work. They both are well built, each has it's advantages. The Belkin has LED lights to show it is working, the Mophie does not. The Mophie has a nice soft touch surface, the Belkin is hard plastic. I returned both. If they charged thru the case, I would have kept them.

    Works great!

    • Written by Howard D I from Addison

First off, I don't think this product is pricey. I'm not sure where that critque comes from. Initially, I scoffed at charing my iPhone wirelessly. My original attitude was "how lazy can someone be"? Just plug your iPhone in and let it charge. But I decided to give this a try after fumbling with my iPhone in the dark to unplug it from the power adapter. I love it. I use my iPhone as my alarm clock, and it's now much easier to grab my iPhone and shut off the alarm. I'm going to buy a second one to use at my desk in my home office. I like the construction, and the rubberized top that prevents my iPhone from sliding. It works great with my Apple silicon cases. I'm not sure how well it will work with other cases, but I don't care, since I have no intrest in buying any of the really tacky looking third party cases.

Nice and subtle wireless charging a breeze

    • Written by Andrew P from Marietta

Great weight to stay where you put it and soft matte rubber coating. Goes almost unnoticed on a night stand or side table. Charges great, and cant wait for the faster charging on this to be enabled.

    So far so good

    • Written by Tyler K from Santa Fe

Works well with my iPhone X in an Otterbox Defender. Iv'e ordered one for home as well. Great in a workplace if you're constantly on the go as I am. Little pricey but if it stays working it's worth it. Phone doesn't vibrate off during calls with the Defender on. I like the led location if it stays on your nightstand, not blinding and doesn't light a room up at night. Charges about the same rate as being plugged into a standard computer. iOS 11.1.2

Worked great on its own, but not with leather case w/magnet

    • Written by Scott W from NEW YORK

I love this concept and outside of the case it worked like a charm right out of the box. I have a leather-backed case by a company called Burkley and there is a magnet embedded in the back that snaps the phone tray/case into a "folding wallet" style case. So you can have the wallet part with you or just pop off the phone part separately (it's a great case!).

However, wireless charging does not work through the tray part with the magnet and it is very difficult to slip the phone out of the tray (the need to do so removes the convenience that wireless charging is meant to provide). So reluctantly I need to return it. I've heard it works fine through sillicone cases.

I gave it 5 stars because it really does work well as marketed and intended, just not for my heavy case.

    Great Product!

    • Written by Ryan W from Newmanstown

This is a really great product and I am glad I upgraded from my off-brand charger. This charger starts charging immediately once you place your device down. The LED indicator is really dim and subtle so its great for a night stand without making the room bright. One complaint though. I have a case made of TPU (full TPU with nothing else,) and it seems to stick to the rubber surface of the charger from time to time, otherwise, this is a great investment and worth the money!

    Great convenience

    • Written by George M from Melbourne

Great product which like any Apple product works as it should. I just place my iPhone X on it at night and starts charging immediately and have it fully charged for the next day. I like the rubberised surface as keeps my phone secure. Also like it’s small footprint. Whilst I am ok with its charging speed look forward to the next IOS update which will make it even faster. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Great Charger, works very well with iPhone X

    • Written by Al G from Manor Lakes

I was concerned when I read reviews of other chargers that it would be difficult to place the phone on the charger. I've had the charger for about a week now and it's actually very easy, requiring almost no effort at all. A little green light under the base confirms that the phone is in position, and the phone charges well in about 75% of the charger. It has a solid build and also a non-slip top. Even constant notifications hasn't moved the phone while in the apple leather case. Very happy.
