    TPU plastic that slips.

    • Written by Armando G from Washington

None of the reviewers brought this up which is shocking but the TPU plastic this is made off slips often. If I have it on top of my legs, it slips. Also, the Apple Geniuses seem to push for this product over the Incase which seems to break sometime given how light it is but doesn't slip. I'm now gonna return it and get myself a new one not from Incase, not from Tech21, not from Spek but Moshi.

    Tech21

Purchased this case a few days ago and I am still not sure about it. It's made from a rubber / plastic material. It will give plenty of protection in its life. But there's a problem. The bottom half of the case is not an exact fit. The top right hand corner seems a bit short and doesn't click in place correct. The case won't fall off, its just not an exact fit.

For the money is it worth it? I am not sure. Is there better out there ? probably is. Saying that the top half is perfect.

    Not for perfectionists

I'm really torn. On one hand this is made out of plastic that is never going to crack or splinter, like the cheaper protection cases do. However, the bottom part of the case does not fit perfectly. It's not like it's going to fall off, but if you're looking for a perfect fit I'd stay away from it. I'd give it a more positive review if it was half the price. The quality of the plastic is premium, the fit is not

First day - Jury still out

As a long time Tech21 customer, I've never had a single complaint with it's quality, protection, or performance. Until today. This case is literally hours out of the box, and the top is covered in faint, hair-line scratches. No clue where they came from, since the protective, peel-away sheets were intact, but it's listed as scratch resistant, and it's not as if i've been abusing it. And while it does not impede the opening, it adds just enough weight to cause the top to shut on it's own while it's still 3-4 inches up. So, i'm giving it some time, but, considering the $89 cost, this may be the first Tech21 product that I return.
