    Good sound. Pathetic battery life.

    • Written by Michael C from Maple Heights

I charged it up hooked it up to my iPhone and hey not to shabby. Then I checked the battery and it was down to 16% after 2 1/2 hours of use. You’re not going to be doing a lot of partying with this thing. Uneceptable.

    Great Sound!

Just bought this off the Apple website for my daughter for Christmas. Have set it up and now I want to keep it. Nice full sound with good bottom end. And it's practically indestructible. I've got the Harman Kardon Esquire, awesome bluetooth speaker, and the sound is comparable.

    Excellent speaker

This is a great speaker. It is loud and powerful without muddying the bass. The app allows you to work some features from your phone, which is very handy. Also, because it is vertical, it doesn't take up much room.

    Total Satisfaction

I'm listening to my first Megaboom 3 Speaker and trying to write an objective review. The sound is clear, there is just enough base at "subdued volume" to make you pat both feet to the beat. (Crank it up slightly...) "Holy Cow"!! I'm buying another to make the windows rattle with clear sound.

    Works fine until it doesn't

    • Written by Grant M from Darlington

Just a bit over two years old and the instrument no longer takes a charge. I took it back to the Broadway Apple Store from where I bought it, but no go. I read some online suggestions, but they did not work. I reset it, according to instructions supplied by UE (Ultimate Ears) and still not taking a charge. I downloaded the new hardware update and still no result.
It mostly stayed in one room and produced excellent sound.
If it is connected to the mains, still good sound and the app works fine.
But that hardly makes it "portable" does it?
    But the battery is dead.
No recourse except to warn others not to waste their money on such a poor Bluetooth Speaker.
I am the first to review this speake on the Apple websiter; does not surprise me as others who have had their's fail probably just could not be bothered.
The price is not cheap, but the quality of the battery poor.
Look around for another product and check out the reviews on their longevity.
