    Works fine until it doesn't

    Just a bit over two years old and the instrument no longer takes a charge. I took it back to the Broadway Apple Store from where I bought it, but no go. I read some online suggestions, but they did not work. I reset it, according to instructions supplied by UE (Ultimate Ears) and still not taking a charge. I downloaded the new hardware update and still no result.
    It mostly stayed in one room and produced excellent sound.
    If it is connected to the mains, still good sound and the app works fine.
    But that hardly makes it "portable" does it?
    But the battery is dead.
    No recourse except to warn others not to waste their money on such a poor Bluetooth Speaker.
    I am the first to review this speake on the Apple websiter; does not surprise me as others who have had their's fail probably just could not be bothered.
    The price is not cheap, but the quality of the battery poor.
    Look around for another product and check out the reviews on their longevity.
