    Connectivity Issues

    When you're buying a premium pair of wireless headphones you expect them to stay connected to your devices and perform consistently. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with the B&O Beoplay H9i headphones. The connectivity issues happen consistently and make listening almost impossible at times. I've had to reset bluetooth dozens of times on my Macbook Pro, iMac and iPhone to get these to re-connect.

    Unless there is a solution to fix this issue I'll have to return, they simply don't perform as you would expect – especially at the price point.

    Sound quilty is very nice. Build quality of hardware is nice and feels premium.

    Not that great

    They come with a cheap bag instead of a case.

    The charger cable is USB-C to USB-A and does not come with a power cube. This would be acceptable if it were usb-c to usb-c so that one could actually charge it on a macbook. I effectively have nothing to plug it into for power without sacrificing another power cube from another device or using an adaptor on my macbook pro.

    The "on ear" controls are confusing.

    Poor bluetooth paring experience.

    Noise cancellation is weak compared to others I've owned (Bose, Sennheiser, Audio Technica)

    Sound quality is acceptable.
