    Generally Good, But ...

    • Written by Nicholas K from Hong Kong

    Excellent battery life, good sound and great for sports but this does not work well when I only have my Apple Watch with me. The audio is fine but when I want to make a call the connection drops. And there's no facility to auto-dial my last number; this is available on other bluetooth headphones that I have used.

    One of the best Bluetooth (sport) headphones out there

    I run quite a bit, and I haven't encountered any other wireless headphones that tick the boxes as well as this set.

    * Long (long!) battery life? Check!
    * Great (customizable) sound? Check!
    * Good fit for exercising? Check!
    * Comfortable fit for normal use? Check!
    * Sweat and water-resistant? Check!

    My other set, the BeatsX, clearly wasn't made for sporting and as such, it didn't survive beyond a year or so.
    These definitely should, and I think they sound better too. I also like how easy it is to adjust these so you can wear the buds with the cable over your ears. No dangling cord and they really do stay put.

    The only "downside" is the proprietary charging cable, but I guess this is the only way to make these truly water-resistant (although I do hope Jaybird will sell the charging cable with a USB-C connection in the near future).

    In other words: one of the best Bluetooth (sport) headphones out there.

    Great sound, comfortable, sweatproof

    I have used original AirPods since they were released and my only issue for a long time had been them not staying put on runs and while working out. I decided to try the tarah pros because the AirPods started pausing randomly and my left ear tap function was hit or miss.
    The tarah pros sound much better than the original AirPods.
    Noise isolation is certainly noticeable although it is passive. I work out daily in a loud gym and where I once heard everything around me plus my music it’s only the most obnoxious folks that come through.
    The earbuds are comfortable once you find the right size. There are three sizes included.
    I sweat a lot and these things have shown no issues thus far. There is a warning not to have the charging connection wet when hooking them up but if you need help figuring that out, that’s a you problem.
    Bluetooth connectivity is NOT an issue. There’s no W1 chip and it’s not a put them in your ears and they connect automatically, but you turn them on and they connect to your phone automatically. I haven’t tried using them with my computer and switching back and forth.

    The charging cable is super short and I am using a portable charger out of convenience. This has been my only issue thus far. Battery life is exceptional and it tells you how much battery is there each time you turn it on.

    Sound great with a little mod

    • Written by David G from Rochester

    I bought these after my original AirPods started to die about 3 months before apple launched the “new” AirPods. I am glad I did not wait for the AirPods as the new upgrade was not really much of an upgrade. I got these headphones because they have a 14 hour battery life which means I am not charging them twice a day like my old air pods, I expect the batteries will last at least twice as long as my AirPods which began requiring 3-4 charges a day at just shy of 2 years old.

    Sound was another reason. These headphones sound much better than AirPods. Aftter a simple modification of the silicone sleeve that came with these headphones, I was able to add some foam comply tips which keep this locked in place and increase sound isolation There was the added bonus of increased bass and clarity with this mod.

    Now for the issues. The charging cord for these is a VERY short proprietary cable that you can only get from Jaybird, should you lose yours, it will be an issue. I was going to buy an extra charging cord so I could leave one at the office, but they are currently out of stock! Really?!! Hard to believe. The only other issues I have is that apple does not sell these in black, an the nice braided cable In gray gets dirty quickly. The “case” is also a little underwhelming for a $160 pair of headphones, just a nylon pouch, which I doubt offers much protection if you are going to throw it in your bag with all your other gear.

    If i always basing my rating on sound and battery life, these would get 5 stars. I just hope that the cable does not fail within a year, or I will be looking to go back to a truly wireless earbud.

    Headphones

    • Written by Betsy C from Concord

    I have had mine for less than a month. They are now causing my music to fast forward and if you are wondering it’s not my phone or the music app I am using. The sound quality is good. You can customize it which is really nice. The headphones only connect to one device and you have to go thru the setting to change it. The noise canceling is non existent but that is expected as it is advertised as noise canceling. At times the fit can be uncomfortable when wearing for prolonged periods of time

    Not for people with a laptop and phone

    • Written by Juan C from Jersey City

    These headphone can not connect to more than one device at a time. That means that if you listen to music in you computer and get a call on your phone you won’t be able to switch or even hear the call. Also having to go to your iPhone setting every time you want to reconnect is a huge pain. Lastly there is no option to use the comply tips. In the other hand the battery life is amazing.
