    Life Changing!!

This is an absolute must! I use to have to charge my phone 3 times a day. Now, with this case, the charge lasts all day. I never have to worry about a dead battery. I keep my phone in my pocket most of the time and this case fits right in. If you don't buy it, you are crazy.

    Awesome!

Honestly I was hesitant to replace my Otterbox Defender Series with a case made by Apple... But once I got it I thought it feels really nice in my hand, and the fact that it integrates with iOS seamlessly and makes my phone last all day and night. I really hope they make this case for the next iPhone, and the next iPhone Plus.

Works, but it's just not for me

While the case works very well, and the iOS integration is quite swell, this is just too much of an inconvenience for what is honestly a problem with the iPhone itself. The hump doesn't sit well in my hand, it pretty much doubles the weight of the phone, and adds almost an inch of length at the bottom. The headphone jack doesn't fit any other headphones than the Apple ones, and the jack feels very uncomfortable against my pinky. The bezel around the phone is also a lot thicker than with the normal silicone case. Overall it just makes the phone very bulky and hard to get a proper grip on. A better internal battery would have been preferable, but this is going back to the store.

    Disappointed in performance over time

For the first 90 days, I could not recommend this product enough and could even justify the premium pricing and lack of features. That being said.. after about 95 days my smart battery case now acts erratically, rarely charges, or just does nothing when plugged in. I can see from other postings that this is not uncommon after a period of time with this product. I normally would not submit a review on an accessory, but this product does not feel like it has the quality most customers have come to expect (and pay for) from Apple. If you are looking to use this case every day, I would recommend researching other products that have been tested to consistently perform over time.

Smart Battery Case has stopped working

When the case was working, it worked great. I have not abused it, dropped it, or had it under any harsh conditions. Case has just stopped working. Seems as though Apple has rushed through this one - very disappointed.

I normally use my devices with no case. This case is the exception to the rule.
    Unlike other charge cases:
-you never have to turn this case on
    -integrates with iOS automatically
-charge and sync through the case
    -use lightning cable to charge

My coworkers went out and bought this, too

    Terrible design

The design this simply a disaster. I've got the white one and when I put it in my jeans, the blue color is stick on it permanently.

Good case, got it for a good price

I've read reviews an thought long and hard about which case I should get next than I decided that I should get this interesting Apple smart battery.. When I relieved the item it felt like it came home, the grip an feel this gives you is great, easy to put on an easy to take off.. The batter concept is basically it charges together with your phone but your phones internal battery first, than once that's full it works on the smart battery an uses the smart battery first when in use.. Only thing is now after 2 weeks with it I noticed it'll it'll do what it's supposed to do but at times I notice it draining alittle power from the internal batter while it takes it from the smart battery.. Either way in getting two charges in one. An the concept with the on/off switch is the same thing.. I have one batter after another one with this, with that in/off option it's the same thing cuz either way my phone is always using battery life from somewhere so basically it's the same thing!!

    You Headphones May Not Fit

I bought this case because my iPhone 6 battery is shot and barely makes it through a day on a single charge (Apple, please do a battery recall). I used it for about an hour and decided to see if my Bose SIE2i Sport Headphones worked with it and found out the hole was too small to get a good connection (there is a small hole for the 3.5mm plug to pass through to the phones jack) . After finding that out I decided to return the case. Yes, I could of taken the case off when I wanted to use my headphones but at $99 I would expect it to work with it on.

The reason I gave it 3 stars is it failed to work with non Apple headphones and in my opinion is a bad design as far as functionality is concerned. If you are looking for an external battery that will extend the charge of your iPhone I can only assume it will work. It did charge my iphone in the short time I used the case and seemed to be flawless.

The size is a little bigger than an regular case and heavier but to me that is a small price to pay for extended battery life.

    Nice slim case.

When i opened the box i noticed how slim and light weight the case is. i normally plugged my phone in after work ,but no need with this case fitted ,it easily lasts to bed time with very heavy use.it feels great in the hand also and in my opinion looks nice and slick.it is expensive for a battery case but a must have for heavy users.just hammer your phone all day for videos, music, surfing and games with no worry of running out of juice..

Does not accept Bose headphone jack

I only just fitted this case and can confirm it feels really nice, fits well, and immediately started to charge the phone.

Sadly, I have three pairs of different Bose headphones, all bought from Apple stores, and none of them fit through the hole in the bottom of the case. This is a serious flaw and a massive disappointment.

My Bowers and Wilkins headphones do fit.

    Excellent

I was apprehensive to buy this case because of the lack of an on/off switch, but decided to give it a shot due to the lightening port and iOS integration. I could not be happier with my purchase! I have had a Mophie in the past and had zero complains besides the need for a different charger, but this case blows it out of the water. The second day of use I traveled for 20 hours. I used my phone very strenuously during those hours with YouTube, music, Facebook, and about anything else you can think of. When I finally got to my destination I still had 65% on my phones battery. I don't see any reason why a fully charged phone and smart battery case wouldn't last the average iPhone user an entire day or even two.

Incredible product, I would recommend to anyone.

Side note: I would gladly pay more up front for a larger internal battery so I don't have to use this product!

    Best Battery Case ever made!!

The materials are of super high quality, buttons are super easy to depress, no off and on switch-it does it all by itself. Highly, highly recommend. Extremely happy with this case...Thanks Apple!

No longer am I range anxious!

This is a great compliment to the iPhone 6. Essentially I finish a 14 hour day with my phone still showing 100% battery remaining, and the case only just needing to be charged. I used to get anxious about using the phone at the end of the day in case I ran out of battery, but those days are gone. It makes the phone heavier of course, but not too heavy, and frankly, easier to handle with the rubbery surface.

My phone is now over a year old and the battery has started to lose its charge quicker than previously, and also its lightning connection is a bit looser than it was, so this smart battery case addresses both issues. You charge both phone and case with one lightning connection on the base of the case.

My only negative is that it attracts the dust like a Dyson made of Blu-Tak, but I can live with that with regular cleanings. Four stars - ONLY marked down one star for its Pig Pen dust attraction - this really is a super bit of kit with signature Apple iOS integration to show relative charging levels.

Completely useless if you want to use hifi headphones

The pack may be good - but it's completely useless if you want to use anything apart from apple headphones... I returned immediately.
Bad apple. This is a serious design flaw.

    50/50

I love having extra battery on my phone and not having to think about if my phones going to be charged when I go to walk home.
However, it adds considerable weight to the phone, it's slightly longer to accommodate the connector and of course thicker. But the problem I'm having is when using my phone, both battery's seem to be going down instead of the case battery first, then the phone battery. Not sure if this is a phone problem but it's a bit annoying considering how expensive both parts are.
